Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. I'm leaving a review voluntarily.
I read this book because it called to me. I've been struggling with finding hope and joy when I see how the world is going, and I thought a book like this one could be helpful.
And this is a nice book! The poems are nice, and I found some that were incredibly beautiful and that really resonated with me. I loved the nature-based metaphors and the overall message of kindness and compassion.

However, I also found the book quite repetitive, with the same key points being made over and over again in most of the poems.
I also probably would have enjoyed this more if I had a base understanding of Buddhism. I don't, sadly, though this book made me curious and the back offers an explanation of the basic terms used in the poems.

The pictures included in the book are a nice addition, pretty and simple, fitting with the message and nature-based imagery.
