DNFing this at 20% - This author’s tone is very off putting. The premise I think is fine, but its execution comes off as a lecture, as if this author is telling us that if you’re not doing Shabbat this way you’re doing it wrong.

In his new work, Alan Morinis reviews pieces of his earlier work on Mussar and brings a number of threads together to form a tapestry which offers a guided approach to embracing Shabbat as a necessary island in the time of our busy lives. His Middot focused approach to building one’s Shabbat practice is useful.
