Mai Corland’s writing is both beautiful and effortlessly engaging. Her prose has a rhythm that pulls you right in and makes you feel like you’re part of the story. Chapter One picks up right after the events of Book Two, and it does not hold back. The debrief is packed with emotion, tension, and some big revelations that had me questioning everything. Who can be trusted? What comes next? It’s the kind of opening that grabs you from page one. I can’t wait to read the rest!
