This is an excellent book and I'm so happy I was able to get an arc. Loved everything about it, felt fresh and new, something we're lacking in fantasy these days.

Definetly had the feel of an epic fantasy / great character and world building - felt like a really good pace throughout. The last 1/3 as usuall in any fantasy was absolutely great

This was what I wanted the previous series to be. It was magical, fantastical and all round amazing. This is a world that needs explored more.

The Tower of the Tyrant is a standalone novel, written by the author of the Pact and Pattern trilogy. I really enjoyed this book. The world building is so well done and the plot is compelling throughout. The character development was great and the writing had me immersed from very early on. I would definitely recommend checking this book out.

Whilst it is harder for standalones to immerse the reader in the world within the pages this book does so excellently, I absolutely loved the depth to the characters and the world building. The plot and the pacing were also very good, and I could not put the book down for the last third! Highly recommend this author to all fans of epic fantasy, this really has the feel of a classic in the making.
