It’s giving why choose twilight and I’m so here for it!

I need the next instalment right now.

I really liked that even though the book is filled with spice, it also has a really good plot running through that I’m eager to know more of. Hello cliffhanger?!

Also can we take a moment to talk about how this Author has made me like ALL three of the MMC’s in their own way. I am also rooting for Elias to get his chance and I just know it’s going to be so good.

Really refreshing read! Enjoyed this a lot!

A Bond Beyond Blood is the first book in The Butcher's Daughter series and is for anyone who loves vampires, spice, and paranormal romances, and I highly recommend it! 😍

A Bond Beyond Blood is for all of you who love:
✨ Why choose & Reverse harem
✨ Enemies to lovers
✨ Multiple POVs
✨ Banter & pet names
✨ Touch her and die
✨ Perfect book boyfriend(s)
✨ Spice!
✨ Second chance love
✨ Political drama & Royals
✨ Cliffhangers

The language is easy and fluid, and each chapter is told from one character's point of view, so the multiple POVs work perfectly and give a special flow throughout the book. The chemistry between Jack and the three vamps is 🥵, and there are plenty of explicit graphic scenes! The story is dark, and the parallel plots only add extra intensity to the main plot.

I couldn't put this one down. I swiped away and was completely horrified when I reached the last page 😭 Just read it! You can thank me later.

I received a book as a gift from the author J. Jameson through NetGalley. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity on being able to read an advance reader copy.

This book had me spiraling in a good way lol, but this book had me intrigued from start to finish. It also tugged my heartstrings because I, too, lost a very close loved one to cancer, and it felt relatable in ways with grief and sorrow. She captured that raw emotion of feeling alone, isolated, and hopeless while grieving the loss of someone close to you. Jack was resilient and relatable.

I was intrigued by Vinny, Ganon, and Elias, like I wanted to know their backstories. Elias, being a Vampire King and being connected in ways it kept me peeled on the book, and not going to lie, it had me going, “Oh, this is so interesting.” It was vague but incredibly intriguing, leaving me curious as I continued reading the book. But the MMMF relationship and the smut with Vinny and Ganon had me giggling so much. The spice was a good amount of teasing, and it had me cackling like a gremlin in my room.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable read, and I’m excited for book 2 and see how all the characters transform and grow in this series. I recommend this to those who love a vampire romance with a dash of spice and a harem trope.

A Bond Beyond Blood is an urban why choose romantasy featuring the FMC, Jacqueline ("Jackie"), and three MMCs, vampires Elias, Gannon, and Vinny. It's book 1 in a new trilogy, The Butcher's Daughter, and it ends in a wicked cliffhanger.

After Jackie's father dies, she hates vampires and wants to learn to fight them - particularly the one who could have saved her father but didn't (Elias). She goes to a trainer, Vinny, to learn to fight vampires - only to fall for him, complicating her views on vampires as a whole. She then finds out that her ex-boyfriend, Gannon, has been turned into a vampire, and he's back wanting another chance at her and needing her help to keep him safe.

This love triangle is made even more complex by Elias, who turns out to be a vampire king who was presumed dead (like, vampire-dead, not just undead). Elias has king business to attend to, but he's inexplicably drawn to Jackie - there are some forces at play here that bring them together in a few different ways, through blood and through history.

This is a why choose/RH novel, but in book 1, Jackie's just beginning to build her trio of boys. Vinny's all in from when he meets Jackie, but the dynamics with Gannon are a bit more complex since he broke her heart previously. Watching the relationships grow and change is really fun, and the best part of an RH book - the boys all wanting what's best for their girl - comes out strong in this story.

Elias is a bit more distant throughout the book as he deals with the complexities of reclaiming his throne. He's by far the oldest and wisest vampire of the three, and his wisdom helps both of the other guys, particularly Gannon as he is learning what it means to be a vampire and still have control over his urges. I liked his storyline at the beginning, but I found myself wanting so much more from him by the end - perhaps it's because this book used to be two separate books and wasn't originally scoped as the first in a trilogy, but it feels like Elias' story cuts off in a strange place at the end.

Overall, though, I LOVED it and can't wait for the other two books in the series!!

Thanks to the ARC team for an advance copy!

If you like your paranormal romances super spicy and you don’t mind gore, you’ll like A Bond Beyond Blood.

Paranormal romances get a lock of flak for being pure smut, and it’s usually unmerited. A lot of these books have good character development, complex plots, and only a few explicit pages. While A Bond Beyond Blood does have some character development, the plot is simple and the sex scenes outweigh the other elements. That being said, the sex scenes are well-done.

After Franco dies from cancer, his daughter Jackie inherits the butcher shop and a blood bond to Eli, the vampire king. Jackie blames Eli for not saving her dad, and her rage leads her to train for a year with boxing champ Vinny, also a vampire. Though she claims to hate all vamps, she gives in to her feelings for Vinny in a smoking hot scene. Soon after, Jackie’s childhood sweetheart, Gannon, returns. He had ghosted her after the funeral because it reminded him too much of his own grief from his father’s murder. In the interim, Gannon has been turned. So three vamps are after this human, and she wants all three.

Vinny is a delight. Not only is he an amazing fighter, he respects Jackie and her wishes. He understands that she been boxed in by the men in her family and wants her to feel free. Eli and Gannon I could do without. Eli’s backstory is good—he got tired of politics and so went into a hiding for a century. He wants Jackie, so somehow this means he needs to reclaim his throne. (I didn’t follow his logic.) He’s incredibly powerful and vicious, and his return to power is gory. He’s also a jerk. I think we’re meant to love to hate him, but in this first book I just hate him. I may read the next book just to see what happens with Eli. Gannon is still trying to grow out of his teenage rebellion and dealing with abandonment issues.

Jackie is nice and complex. She’s angry and focused, but she’s also able to realize when she’s beat. She acknowledges when she’s wrong, like accepting the truth that Franco didn’t want Eli to save him. She can also learn to forgive herself for wanting three different men. I’d like her as a friend.

Overall, while this book isn’t my cup of tea, it’s entertaining and totally hot.

I wanted to read this because it was my favorite kind of book....reverse harem plus vampires.
This book did not disappoint at all. It starts out with some grief for our FMC, Jack. The loss of her father. In the beginning you see the connection that Elias had with Jack's father. It also gives you a brief explanation that vampires live among the humans. Jack is learning to fight vampires because she wants revenge
on what she believes Elias refused to do for her father. Vincenzo is training Jack to fight vampires and is completely obsessed with her; you can feel their chemistry. Gannon is the ex-boyfriend who regrets hurting her and grovels. Elias is the missing vampire king. Together they make up the harem. I really enjoyed how each MMC had a
different build up with Jack. The spice in the book was definitely hot, there were also moments I was kicking my feet, and I
could not put the book down. I cannot wait for book 2. Thank you J. Jameson, NetGalley, and Victory Editing for sending me this ARC. All of my opinions
are my own.

✨Arc Review✨

Thank you to the author J. Jameson, Jessalyn Jameson And Netgallery for sending me a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Three vampires, one mortal, and enough tension to power a thousand fanfic spin-offs. A Bond Beyond Blood is a whirlwind of bloodlust, revenge, and, well, literal lust. J. Jameson serves up a spicy paranormal romance that doesn’t hold back—delivering equal parts smolder, sass, and those “Did she really just say that?” moments that make you grin and gasp simultaneously.

Our heroine is a force to be reckoned with—bold, vengeful, and juggling more supernatural suitors than a vampire-themed Bachelor. Elias, the vampire king, somehow invades her thoughts and captures her attention with dangerous charisma. Vinny, the resident bed-warmer, exudes a sultry vibe that should come with a warning label. And then there’s Gannon, the ex with classic “Why are you even here?” energy, trying to worm his way back in.

The revenge plot against Elias kicks off with fiery determination but quickly spirals into a messy cocktail of mutual fascination and reluctant teamwork. Honestly, totally relatable. Who hasn’t been sidetracked by a charismatic villain? Toss in an impending vampire war, and the plot thickens—thicker than a glass of O-negative.

This book isn’t subtle, and it doesn’t want to be. It leans hard into every trope like it’s getting paid per swoon. Is it melodramatic? Absolutely. Do the characters sometimes put their chaotic love square above life-or-death stakes? Without a doubt. But that’s the whole point—and the fun of it.

If you’re craving high drama, sizzling chemistry, and a heroine who multitasks with supernatural suitors like a pro, A Bond Beyond Blood is your next guilty pleasure. Just be ready to walk away with at least one new fictional crush.

What made me pick up this book:
I saw the cover while scrolling through Netgalley and thought “man... that is a gorgeous cover”, decided to read the blub and I was hooked. Thankfully I was approved because this is easily one of my top reads for 2025.

What stood out to me while reading:
The way each one of Jack’s boyfriends represent such different types: you have Vinny as the overprotective “give her the world” boyfriend. Then you have Gannon, who is groveling at Jack’s feet to win her back, then Elias, whose the typical arrogant “mighty is I” guy who
How I’m Feeling:
I. Loved. It. I need book 2 immediately, especially after that cliff hanger.

Favorite quote:
“Trust me, pet. If I get on my knees for you right now, what happens next will make both of your boyfriends absolutely murderous.”

Do I recommend?:
Absolutely yes I do. It does not matter if you are a seasoned Vampire Romance Reader, or new to the genre, this book will have you by the throat, begging for it like Jack.

A Bond Beyond Blood kicked off as a slow-burn training revenge plot and turned into the most delightfully chaotic why choose vampire romance I've ever read. When Jackie sets out to slay the vampire who failed her father, she ends up caught between three dangerously alluring, immortal men: Vinny, her vampire trainer; Gannon, her ex, now undead; and Elias, the brooding vampire king.

The pacing builds beautifully: emotional tension, shifting alliances, and scorching chemistry weave between Jackie and the men she doesn't have to choose between. Vinny brings protective warmth; Gannon is dramatic revenge material; Elias is commanding and intensely possessive. The complex dynamic is addictive in all the best ways.

This isn't just paranormal romance, it's chaos, seduction, and power plays wrapped in blood magic. The romance is slow to bloom fully, and the cliffhanger landing is maddening, but in a satisfying way that makes you crave the next book.

Bottom line: If you're into reverse‑harem paranormal with sharp writing, feral chemistry, and high-stakes romance, A Bond Beyond Blood is worth the ride. Just be sure you're ready for wicked vampires and a vow: you'll want the sequel ASAP.

This book was so captivating! I couldn't put it down! It was so in depth, I was able to visualize the whole book. I can't wait for #2.The characters don't remind me of the typical vampire stories and I am so sad that it’s ended! The spice was perfect and I still can't get over the details, even when describing the simple things!

I haven't read a reverse harem in a while, so going in this I had some expectations that the spice level would be decent because I remember how fun and interesting the spicy scenes could be. And I do have to say, they were amazing I just do wish we would've gotten some with Elias, that was my main quirk with the book but obviously that could happen in the future books. Jack, is quite literally living my dream, having 3 vampire men swoon over her? Willing to share her? God what a lucky woman. I'm very interested to see where everything is going and the dynamics especially after that ending.
Thank you to Netgalley and Victory Editing for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Pretty good book. It holds its own as a reverse harem vamp story. My first thought in that genre is Katee Robert (court of the Vampire queen). I think this book has a good ratio of plot to smexy times. I feel like/hope that Elias interacts more with main three in the second book (true harem). I'm sure mfc will only become more bad arse now. Thanks for the ARC opportunity netgalley and the publisher. I would read the next book if it were also shared on netgalley.

Spicy vampire sandwich!

Very spicy book, too many smutty scenes for my taste. So the book is created for those who are looking for a hot vampire read.

I liked Jack's undefeated vampire king, her ex-boyfriend seeking forgiveness and her reliable fist hero. In the future, there will definitely be hot scenes and royal vampire intrigue.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the free review copy.

ARC Review: A Bond Beyond Blood by J. Jameson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"I won't bite you until you beg for it". Cue me begging for book 2 ASAP because I devoured this book!!

True Blood meets a "why choose" romance with a darkly seductive edge. We follow Jack, a strong-willed FMC reeling from the loss of her father and thrust into inheriting not only his business—but also something else (no spoilers!!) Involving a mysterious vampire.

We follow Jacks relationship with Vinny—her intense yet tender protector. Vinny is pure possessive vampire gold, but surprisingly sweet and nurturing too. I loved his character the most. But since this is a "why choose" romance, one vampire simply isn't enough...
Enter Gannin, Jack’s ex and a wildcard reintroduced into her life but a bit too easily for my liking. While their chemistry is undeniable, I found myself wishing Jack had made him work a little harder for her forgiveness!!!

And then there’s Elias, the vampire tied to her who adds a mysterious, simmering layer to the dynamic. I would have loved more time to explore Elias's connection with Jack—hopefully we get that in Book 2.

The spice is definitely spicing and there are no complaints from me! Book 2 is on my TBR, I need to know what happens next!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5 Stars) – ARC Review for NetGalley

“I won’t bite you until you beg for it”… well, consider me feral and begging.
A Bond Beyond Blood is a fast-paced, emotionally charged vampire romance with plenty of bite. Jack, our FMC, starts off guarded and grieving, but grows fiercely into herself - all while three very different vampires take turns wrecking her walls (emotionally and otherwise).

Vinny? Sweet, protective, self-defence coach with a jaw that probably has its own fan club.
Gannon? The heartbreaker ex, now grovelling with intent.
Elias? I need to know more.

There’s spice, betrayal, found family, grief, and enough tension to snap a leather corset. I loved the layered POVs and how each male lead brings out a different version of Jack. While I wanted a bit more on the “revenge” side of the plot, the emotional depth and cliffhanger absolutely hooked me.

If you love “why choose” paranormal romance with claws, chaos, and complicated men - this one’s for you.
Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC!

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC of a Bond Beyond Blood. I went into this not sure what to expect but really in the end wanted more. I wasn’t a huge fan of the FMC Jack, I felt like she was very underdeveloped as a character and a lot could have been done to fix that. I do love the “petit colibri” endearment and I do plan to read the next book because in the end I do love a good why choose vampire romance!

An interesting read. If you’re into “why choose”, deadly vampires, and a complex world of survival for the humans among danger, this is for you.

There was hard for me to connect with and enjoy the FMC. She really wasn’t much of a character, same old boring female who ALL the guys fall for without really having much to offer but (looks?) and to sleep with them all. BUT again, if you like why choose, this lack of profound destiny and just more smut, may be for you.

I loved the banter, loved the thoughts, living in everyone’s brains. Loved how Vinny was the night in shining armor always. Showing us what a good and bad, guy is. This part of the book creates that complex tension some may find alluring towards the romance aspect of the book.

As for the other MMC, the ex bf, the me, he was so damn annoying. Did nothing positive whatsoever but was sure to get back in bed with Jack almost immediately after having not really done anything to fix his mistakes. Like gag, you don’t get a fast pass just because buddy. That part really killed the vibe for me.

I did enjoy a majority of the book overall, but yes, I did have to skip through things and some scenes. I’ll most likely read the next book in the series to see what the heck happens.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for sending me an E-Arc for my honest review!!

I have not been this excited for vampires since twilight! Our FMC is aware of their human weaknesses and trying adamantly to be in fighting shape. We have two(cough 3) MMC and I love them all, love the lack of a triangle and begrudgingly sharing. The spice is gooooooooood! Can’t wait for more Elias!
