I’m not sure what I can say about this book, cause I don’t want to give to much away. This book has a ton of action, great characters, good plot, and another ton of smex. Good smexy smut.
Jack, so many secrets her father kept from her, and she was left with no one to look to for help. Quitting her schooling and taking over the family biz. Jack prepares for the fight of her life.
Ok Vinny, vampire, is teaching Jack self defence, this man is an absolute sweetie pie, who is protective as much as he is attentive. ( I’d like to order/find myself one of him please!)
then we have Gannon, Vampire, who broke Jack’s heart and wants a second change
And then we have the great Elias, vampire, who shows up later and throws everything on its chaos.
I do like that the stupid* kind of stubborn, by Jack, happens at the beginning of the book. *By stupid I mean not getting all the facts and jumping to conclusions with assumptions, which seems to be a popular trope with by the strong independent FMC’s. Thank you
However that cliff hanger… I hate to love it.
kay point in no particular order:
- Parental D3@th - Cancer
- Multi POV
- betrayal
- greif
- Rebellion/ upheaval
- F!ghting with lots of g0r3
- Why choose
- Vampire x human
- Plot twists & a beast of a cliff hanger

Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing for an ARC of this book!
The first book in the Butcher‘s Daughter trilogy, A Bond Beyond Blood follows the mortal Jack and the three vampires aimed at stealing her heart Eli, Vinny, and Gannon. Although very naïve at the beginning, Jack started to grow into her power as the book progressed. As she becomes tangled deeper and deeper into a world she never wanted any part in, Jack is forced to confront her prior beliefs about her father’s death and vampires in general. Once she does the spice heats up as well (thank you, Vinny) and I was here for it.
Overall, this was an amazing start to a new trilogy and I can’t wait for book two!

ARC Review — ★★★★☆
Thank you to NetGalley and J. Jameson for the opportunity to read this e-ARC!
While I’ve never watched True Blood, I’m a longtime Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan—and if you are too, you’re going to want this book on your radar. It’s a “why choose” vampire romance with serious Buffy-adjacent energy. One of the love interests is British, blonde, and full of wit? Elias gave me major Spike vibes, and I was immediately sold.
Vinny was another standout—his love for Jack felt deep and genuine, and I adored their dynamic. Gannon’s still a bit of a question mark for me, but there’s definite potential there. I really appreciated how each man brought out a different side of Jack, making her feel like a well-rounded, multifaceted protagonist.
The pacing kept me hooked—I devoured it in under 24 hours. My only critique is that the spicy scenes started to feel a little too frequent around the halfway point, to the point that they occasionally detracted from the plot’s momentum.
Overall, this was a fast-paced, entertaining read with plenty of bite (pun intended). Fans of paranormal romance, Buffy, and found-family vibes with a spicy twist will definitely want to check this one out.

A Bond Beyond Blood is a pulse‑quickening entry into the world of paranormal romance, mixing power, revenge, and erotic entanglements with vampires. If you crave seductive supernatural drama, morally grey love interests, and fast‑moving emotional stakes, this is likely to fit your vibes.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book as much as I have. I'm not a fan of True Blood and, when this book was marketed as the reverse harem version of True Blood, I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy the book. I ended up enjoying it far more than I anticipated.
I know exactly the grief Jacqueline experienced after the loss of her father, as I went through the same thing when my father passed in December 2015. I was expecting this to trigger me, like it did with the last book, but I was surprised to find that it didn't trigger me at all.
I'm still not sure what I think about Gannon, as he left Jackie when she needed him the most. I do like that he's groveling for her, as she deserves absolutely nothing less, but I'm not sure she should have let him back in as quickly as she did. That's just my opinion, though.
I'm also not sure what I think about Vinny right now, but I'm going to keep an open mind when the sequel becomes available to read. I'm looking forward to that sequel, by the way. I didn't realize I'd need it as much as I do but I'm okay with that now. lol
Elias is growing on me, which is a good thing, as I think he's going to become a major part of Jackie's life soon, whether either of them enjoy that thought or not. I have a feeling Vinny is going to have a major problem with it, though he promised her that he'd be there for her in the long haul.
All in all, yes, I do recommend this book. I couldn't recommend it more if I tried, actually. I can't wait for the sequel and would encourage everyone to go into this book with an open mind. I hope I enjoy the sequel as much as I enjoyed this book.

Let's start by saying I absolutely love Jack. She is bold and she is fearless. I love how we deeply navigate all the different relationships and emotions, and that we get everybody's pov. I loved her relationship with Vinny from the get-go; Full of trust, love and care. He stole my heart right away! Honestly, I wasn't sure of Gannon, but he really grew on me. A lot of longing, emotional heart-to-heart moments, and flashback from their past. As for Elias, I am very curious (but not sold yet?).
I really enjoyed the vibes of the book and the spice was fun. Although, I think I expected a bit more for the plot? I feel like the whole revenge part was dropped pretty quickly and then I wasn't sure where we are headed. There was a lot of focus on the vampire romance, and hey im not mad about it, but I cant wait to see where this is all going!
Thank you Netgalley for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion 🫶🏽

This one was really fun. Just a girl who sets out to slay vampires ending up with more than one wanting her for her blood. And more.

As a huge vampire story lover, A Bond Beyond Blood was fantastic and took it the next level with some Reverse Harem super-spice I've always wanted in a vampy story.
The characters were easy to love, and their relationships were well developed. You get all the best MMC characteristics split between the three love interests in the best way.
The plot was interesting and engaging with vampire politics, mafia ties, and familial dynamics.
The FMC is tough, yet completely relatable. Her dynamic with the MMC's is fun and so enviable. I love that each was a different story all on it's own.
I cannot wait to continue with the next book and see where the story goes!

Jack has not ONE, not TWO, BUT THREE VAMPIRES OBSSESED WITH HER !! UGHH to be the FMC right about now 🙂↕️🙂↕️
She’s on a mission to hunt the vampire who changed her life & kill him. Little did she know her revenge mission would lead her to falling in love with two vampires!! One is her smooth talking training , the second her groveling EX & the third gives my poor girl whiplash for days !!!! MFMM WHY CHOOSE!! Yeah you had me sat for three days and i was not disappointed !
The cliff hanger at the end tho 🤬!!! I need the second book ASAP!!

S/O NetGalley for letting me review this book!!!

Wow! Emotions right from the get go, and I continued to stumble over them the whole way through. Seriously, I could not put this one down!!
Vinny stole my heart from the very beginning. Strong, fast, vampire, but was still loving, respectful, obsessive, and protective. All great qualities we want in our (fictional) men!
And Elias… whew!! Yes please, sir King. He expelled pure s*x desire.
Honestly, between the two of them, I’d never be able to choose myself. Gannon didn’t even come close.
I am so incredibly hooked on this story, I’m desperate for book two. The plot, the characters, the SMEXY scenes… I need more asap!
Plot 10/10 ⭐️
Spice 8/10 🌶️
Emotions 10/10 ⭐️
Character development 9/10 ⭐️

I was lucky to receive an advanced copy from the author.
Potential spoilers below!
This book started strong, and pulled me in quickly. I'm a huge fan of vampires and these ones are done really well. Elias is stoic, charismatic, demanding, and sexy. Gannon is earnest, sweet, and remorseful. And then there's Vinny. Vincenzo. This man! He deserves everything! His entire existence has focused on Jack and her happiness. He is patient, caring, understanding, communicative, sensual, and takes care of her every need; even when those needs include the other vamps. This man is written to be complex and cerebral. He is the epitome of top tier MMC who lives only for the FMC's pleasure.
I truly can't wait until book two (which I immediately preordered) for more action with these vampires and Jack. There is a lot still to unpack with the relationships, plot, and political machinations. I'm looking forward to it.
Four solid stars.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was accepted for this arc through net galley and i honestly had such a fun giggly time reading it. It comes out on the 1st August🩶
This is a why choose vampire romance with the best spice. It has multiple pov’s and i absolutely ate it up.
After the death of her dad, the main character has to battle against her hatred for vampires whilst also falling for the vampire teaching her how to protect herself. The tension and the yearning in this is insane!
Nothing too serious and the plot had me hooked. So fuming that i have to wait another year for book number 2 because that cliffhanger and plot twist at the end had my mouth wide open!

"And I would earn her love again. Because I had every intention of becoming the kind of man who deserved such a gift."
A lonely orphaned young woman, who hates vampires with reason, finds herself surrounded by possessive, jealous vampire men all vying for her claim. Jacqueline "Jack" Fiorno is overburdened. Forced to grow up faster than her 21 years, taking on the family business when her two elder brothers couldn't be bothered, she also carries a vendetta that weighs heavy on her heart. But when she starts to fall for the devilishly handsome and flirtatious vampire training her to fight vampires, she begins to question the validity of her revenge.
Messy, hostile vampire politics threaten any chance of peace and happiness she might've had with any of her vampire suitors. But when one of those suitors turns out to be the long-missing vampire king, all hell breaks loose.
Throw in her third vampire paramour, her ex-boyfriend and childhood best friend who ghosted her, and the emotionally devastating second chance romance adds significant heartfelt weight into the mix of her chaotic love life.
Can Jack find her HEA through all of this heavy baggage? The cliffhanger ending has us desperately waiting for that answer.
The story takes you through a lot of backstory and emotional history without the use of heavy flashbacks. With multiple POVs and 4 characters to wade through, this could've easily become a dense and dragging affair. But the pacing is balanced and brisk. The plot keeps moving and never gets bogged down or heavy-handed with the past. And still you get 4 fully formed characters with backstories and distinct personalities. No one feels half-baked or lacking equal page time. Each character is believable and consistent.
The story focuses on the relationships between Jack and her potential vamps, with multiple dangers hovering in the peripheral and intense vampire politics creeping in as the story goes along.
For fans of fun, vampy urban paranormals - complete with biting smut!
As the author states in the dedication: for those who loved True Blood but wanted Sookie to end up with both Eric and Bill.

This book was such a fun, albeit a little dark (vampires 😅) and quick read! It definitely got me out of my slump! I really enjoy that all the main characters have different personalities and all so fiercely want Jackie. But Jackie can very much stand on her own which I really appreciate in a FMC. They very much give off Klaus, Elijah and Kol from The originals vibes (to me at least). This book has moments of fun, joy, and heartache written so well together. That ending though my heart hurts for Vinny but I know he will come out strong! Looking forward to book 2 and hopefully some secrets revealed.

A Bond Beyond Blood is a steamy, spiced filled reverse-harem with lots of vampires and intrigue.
This book is spice driven and to me, the plot very much took a backseat. In the beginning we have an FMC who is angry, out for blood, resistant to anything outside of her cause, and I was surprised by how fast she cracked. There was an overwhelming sexual need and an abundance of willingness to satiate it.
I prefer my books to have more plot, so I wasn't fully Immersed, but I do know that there are people who crave spice more than I that would eat this up. Anyone looking for three entirely different males, one with untouchable power and cloaked in mystery, one with influence and a cocky confidence, and one childhood love soft and searching, devoted to one sassy, slightly oblivious girl with a healthy libido, this is for you.

I went into A Bond Beyond Blood with high expectations - the premise sounded like something I’d love, and there were moments of writing that really stood out as elegant and emotional. But as I moved through the story, I found myself struggling to feel connected.
The characters felt a bit out of reach for me. I never quite got a sense of who they were beneath the surface, which made it difficult to feel invested in their journeys or relationships. Vinny, in particular, just didn’t click for me as a character.
The shifts in perspective sometimes led to repeated information, which slowed things down and made sections feel less engaging.
That said, I don’t think it was a bad read -it just didn't land 100%. I will still definitely read the next book in this series as I want to know where this story goes.

I really tried to stick this one out but overall it just fell a little flat for me, and I really had high hopes.
The first two chapters I felt were great openers to lure me into the story and see how our FMC would handle loss and a change of plans in life, but then the beginning skipped to two years ahead, missed the FMC and MMC meeting for the first time, how emotions were handled and how the blood oath got carried over from one person to the next. I just felt like a lot of details were skimmed whilst the story got straight into lusty details and scenes with an insta lust and not much suspense and relationship building.
It feels like some descriptions/sentences get repeated quite within the same chapter which threw me a little in places and gave me a sense of Deja-vu, but I appreciated that descriptions were quite clear and concise so I could distinguish the characters easy enough.
The plot itself was just dangling in front of you with no real progression, it went from owning the shop and awaiting Elias return, to bam he’s back and taken over half the council already whilst Jacks at home having lots of sex.
The attack happened in the last 5% of the book with an instant heal/fix. There was just a lot that didn’t really line up or make a lot of rhyme or reason.
Although I didn’t enjoy the plot and progression, I can definitely see and appreciate where the author wanted to go and I didn’t hate the writing style, it’s just one that wasn’t for me unfortunately.

This. Book. The original working of this book was on my radar but I never got around to reading, and boy do I regret it. I can never thank NetGalley and the publishers enough for allowing me to read and ARC of the reworked title. Absolutely OBSESSED with it!! I devoured this in a day, I just couldn’t put it down.
3 hot protective Vampires 🥵
A boyfriend, an ex-boyfriend and the vampire king you’re stuck in a blood bond with 🥵🥵
Why choose when they’re all okay with sharing you 🥵🥵🥵
I honestly had THE best time reading this book, the spice was spicing, the drama was hitting and the plot was plotting in *just* the right way. Absolutely can’t wait for the next instalment, sign me right up! 4.5⭐️ but rounded up to 5 because I feel criminal rating it at 4.

4.5 stars
This book had my full attention and did not let it go! I finished this at like 330 in the morning and I'm still thinking about it. I'm glad I took my time with this so I could enjoy it without rushing. I loved how sassy and headstrong Jack is. Elias, Gannon and Vinny (who is the LOML in this book) have all nicely different backgrounds and personalities. The book is written in an expressive enough fashion that I get the picture in my head without it being overbearing in detail.
After that ending, I will be impatiently waiting for the following books in the series.

I can’t wait to see where the next book takes us! I am obsessed with the Vampire King on behalf of Jacqueline - and I can’t wait to see if there is anything new to their bond after that cliffhanger! If you like spicy, why choose, bite play - this is the book for you!
