4½ stars.
I first read this when it was a novella and book number one and absolutely loved the story and all of the characters. I am so excited I got to ARC read this edition of their story.

All of these men are perfect. Vinny, who has been training her to fight vampires and slowly waiting for her to admit the way she feels about him to herself. Eli, who was so broody & wanted nothing to do with her in the beginning but came to care about nothing but her. And sweet young Gannon who broke her heart in the past but groveled so sweetly to get back into her good graces. I just love all of them.

This world is so intriguing. Even though it’s the romances in this book that kept my eyes glued to the page & kept me from putting my kindle down, the plot does not lack in the slightest. I can’t wait to learn more about this world, i think it will expand quite a bit in book two. & Ahh that ending! I will be eagerly waiting for book two to find out what happens next after that cliffhanger!

Thank you, J. Jameson for the opportunity to read this ARC. 🫶🏼 All thoughts in this review are honest and my own.

First and foremost, thank you to J. Jameson and NetGalley for letting me read this e-ARC!

O. M. G. Vampires, a badass FMC, a redemption ARC, a sweetheart of a MMC, a reverse harem, and the steamiest open door scenes? Girl, I’m STILL fanning myself right now. This book has everything I love and it’s done so damn well. When I got to the end of the book I was so upset because I was like “WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS THE END, how is this the end, I NEED BOOK 2 YESTERDAY!!!!”

I did not expect the book hangover I have from this book right now. Jameson created fantastic characters you’re really able to invest in and grow to love and appreciate. And I’m just gonna say right now, I’m #TeamVinny and I sincerely hope that man gets a loving redemption in the next book because I felt so bad for him with the way things ended here. I sped through this and cannot get enough of these characters and I am so excited for Book 2. Five star read from me :)

This was a spicy why choose paranormal romance with some fun tropes and a whole lot of HEAT. Jack, a butcher’s daughter out for revenge, ends up with three vampires who are OBSESSED with her. The romance was definitely the main focus, and it brought all the steam.

The writing was solid, but I found myself wanting a bit more depth especially around Eli and Vinny’s backstories and the overall world. I kept wondering how humans and vampires reached this point, and a little more world building could’ve made the story even stronger. Still, the romance and spice absolutely delivered, and I had fun with this one.

If you’re here for spice and possessive vampires, this one is for you!!

If your looking for a spicy vampire story with an interesting plot this book is for you.

Elias Bristol, Vincenzo Ricci, Gannon Hayes. Three vampires with one goal in mind. Me.

Jacqueline "Jack" Fiorino is the daughter of Franco who runs a Meat shop in Brooklyn that has a secret. On the 15th of every month the vampire King Elias visits the shop to receive his supply of animal blood. A deal that was formed 21 years ago that cannot be broken. With the passing of her father the responsibility now lies with Jack. However, it's been over a year and Elias has never shown and Jack has been training with Vincenzo to take him down for not saving her father.

Over the course of a year Vinny and Jacks relationship bloomed. Vinny knew the second he laid eyes on Jack that she was the one for him but since he was a vampire it took Jack awhile to come around. But once she did , let's just say they made up for lost time in the spiciest of ways.

Of course once they solidify their relationship Gannon Hayes returns home. Jacks life long boyfriend who left her in her time of need. But when he returned he was no longer human but an unhinged baby vampire. Desperate to be loved by Jack again.

Oh did you think I forgot about Elias.. No one can forget the vampire king. His return was shocking and intense. He took Brooklyn by storm righting the wrongs of the House of Lords, the vampires who tried to kill him for the throne all while turning Jack, Vinny and Gannon worlds upside down but revealing that his blood runs through Jacks veins.

I'm excited for the next book and to see where their story goes.

I had such high hopes for this. The premise was interesting, and some of the writing was beautifully written. But sadly, I was left a little frustrated. I didn't feel I got to know the characters very well, and then we were expected to root for them. I don't know what it was about Vinny, but I could not stand him. I wish I could have seen more of the budding relationship with Jack. I found that as perspectives shifted, lines were repeated. After the first two, it became too repetitive. There was a lot of telling and not so much showing I felt. It didn't always flow smoothly. Almost like I was reading a polished draft copy. I feel so bad because I wanted to enjoy this more, I feel it has so much potential, but for me, it just isn't quite there. With my rating system, I give this a 3 out of 5 because despite my issues with it, I did enjoy it mostly. It wasn't a terrible read, I just wanted more.

I read the tropes and I loved the cover- hence why I dived right into this!

The first few chapters alone grabbed me by entirely and I loved it straight away. Emotional and so intriguing to see how the rest of the story would play out.

ABBB follows Jack and her journey for revenge and clarity. Picking up along the way, 2 vamps and a literal king who all want and crave her. She is unique, feisty, stubborn and proud- all in the best way possible a female could be!! Who could blame them, seriously?

The intimacy was beautifully done and a lot of passages that I loved! The spice is spicy alright, and I feel it is quite fast paced compared to the gritty storyline unfolding outside of the romance. I definitely need more of that storyline!! I’m definitely intrigued to see what comes next in this series and how the characters each evolve going forward.
-That ending definitely did not satiate me. We need answers.

A book that has reverse harem and vampires, what is not to love?!

The emotions in this just felt so genuine, the author actually explored how the different characters felt about sharing. It was refreshing from a lot of books where they all just seem instantly cool with it and the FMC having no hesitation.

The characters were really developed. Eli definitely gave off Klaus vibes from TVD and I was really here for it. I would love to see more of Eli and Jackie's relationship and how he is going to fit into their harem. Can totally see him being the one dictating it all. The possessiveness of Vinny is so hot but how willing he is to please Jackie above his own desires makes it even hotter! Gannon is a slow burner but their love seems really sweet and they have a relationship grounded on friendship first.

If you like your spice you will definitely love this book. Not too much happens plot wise in this book and it is more focused on character development but I can definitely see it in the pipelines.

If you are after your vampire fix you need to pick this book up, I know I can't wait for book 2 already!

Thank you so much to the author and NetGalley for letting me read this book as an ARC!

Bond Beyond Blood absolutely sank its fangs into me and refused to let go. Jack is a hot mess of grief, trauma, and vampire-related chaos, and honestly? I loved her for it. She’s not just juggling one sexy vampire—she’s got three, and somehow, they’re all dangerously obsessed with her in the best possible way. The "why choose" trope is firing on all cylinders here, and yes, the smut is top tier, thank you for asking. Vinnie is the protective softie, Elias is a murderous man-child with charm, and Gannon is...well, he grew on me like a bloodthirsty fungus. The cliffhanger nearly made me throw my Kindle, but I’ll absolutely be back for book two, unhinged and impatient. Is it chaotic? Yes. Is it subtle? Not even a little. Did I eat it up anyway? Every bloody word. Also, can we please get more smut in the world just like this lol

This book is everything!!!
5 stars
And the smut was top tier!!

The why chose trope was nailed perfectly in this book and I'm obsessed! It was written well and who doesn't love vampires?

All MMCs were so perfect! And the FMC was strong and amazing!

S/O to netgalley for this awesome read.

I can't believe I've finished the book already. I feel like it was just getting so good, and then "the end".....I mean the whole book itself was really good, but SOMETHING was about to go down and then.. THE END! til the next book. (Which I will definitely be looking out for). This is the first book I've read dealing with vampires and romance. Way Different than anything I've read. "Jack" (which is actually a girl in this story and causes some confusion with her name too"...has feelings for not only ONE, BUT THREE VAMPIRES!! They're all connected to her some how and pretty much the center of attention between them all. She may not be a literal Queen in this story, but by the way these vampires treat her, she might as well have been their Queen.

Jack: Having to take over the family business, she had a hate for vampires after her father's death. Her life changed drastically after being involved romantically with vampires.

Elias, VInny, & Gannon: soon enough have to come to terms that they're going to be involved with Jack whether they like it or not.

A Bond Beyond Blood is a reverse harem, vampire romance that completely took me by surprise in the best way. While many RH books dive headfirst into the spice from the beginning, this one leans more toward a slow burn, especially when it comes to the dynamic between the FMC and the full harem. There are steamy moments early on with one of the men, but the buildup with the others is drawn out and incredibly satisfying. The tension and pacing felt intentional and I loved that the author took the time to develop each connection individually.

This story is packed with tropes I love, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, second chance romance, woven together in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming or forced. It gave the book a layered, emotional quality that I didn’t expect from a vampire romance. Speaking of vampires, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel going into a book that fully centered on them since I’ve only read books with vampires before, not about them. Turns out, vampire men might be my new favorite fictional obsession.

There is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end so be prepared to want the next book ASAP. I’m already anxiously waiting to see where the series goes from here. If you’re into reverse harem stories with actual plot, tension, character growth, and vampires that you’ll probably fall in love with, this one’s for you. Just trust the process and enjoy the slow burn. It’s worth it.

A Bond Beyond Blood was so good that I could not put it down. I enjoyed the back and forth between Jack and her men. Vince and Elias were my favorite characters. Vince had the perfect amount of protectiveness and sensitivity for Jack, watching her fight herself, grief and the uncertainty of the world. Elias was giving a little playful, a lot of all-powerful bad boy, I loved his PoV. I thought J. Jamenson did a great job with how grief is handled by Jack and her siblings. I saw her struggle with her father's death and can relate to that feeling. I can't wait for the next book!

Thank you NetGalley and J Jameson and Jessalyn Jameson for this eARC!

Whilst why choose is not normally my kind of trope because I am a sucker for HEA with a couple, this surprised me entirely. It has a lot of spice, passion and out right tension. You ended up routing for each person and it solidified that the why choose was soooo needed!

It was a fun read, which I flew through and thoroughly enjoyed, can't wait for book 2!!!

This book sounded so interesting, and i am glad i read it. This was my first ever why choose romance. I dodnt know i would enjoy a why choose romance this much, but I did.

I honestly enjoyed this book. The banter btween or fmc and the boys was entertaining. I gigled lots when i read these interactions. As the warning said i did cry a little in the first few chapters.

The fact that Jack is a strong and capable main character was enjoyable, even if she sometimes acted without thinking her actions through. Vinny is such a sweet and protective boyfriend, i honestly wish he was real. Gannon, though, i didnt like him at the start, but as i got to learn more about him he grew a bit on me. I still find him slightly annoying though. And Elias, he is funny. He acts rather childish at times which makes him a fun character, though i love it when he gets serious and murderous.

I can't wait to read the next book when it comes out. I really need to know what happens next. That cliffhanger of emotions, damn.

Blood Bonds, Butcher Shops, and Vampire Chaos — A Spicy Start with Room to Grow
Let’s start with this: if you're looking for a vampire fantasy dipped in blood, grief, and smoldering tension, this book has your name on it. The premise is bold, Jack, our protagonist, inherits a butcher shop and a blood bond after her father's death. She’s tasked with stocking animal blood for a vampire king (yes, that kind of king), and her life spirals into a mess of secrets, attraction, and revenge. Oh, and plot twist? Jack isn’t who you think she is. The reveal that she's female mid-story adds an unexpected layer to the narrative, albeit one that could have used a little more nuance and build-up.
The supporting cast brings intrigue, two other vampires with deep ties to Jack’s past resurface, each adding tension and emotional weight. It’s a bit of a “why choose” setup with Jack pulled toward three very different, very vampire love interests: her mysterious bonded vampire (the elusive Vampire King), her trainer Vinnie, and her vampire ex. The result? A tangled web of attraction that somehow manages to be both a slow burn and satisfyingly spicy. It’s no easy feat, but the book leans into it hard.
Now, let’s talk structure and story. This novel feels like a gateway drug into vampire romance: accessible, fast-paced, and dripping in smut. It’s perfect for readers who are new to the genre or just want something steamy without too many complications. But if you’re craving a deep world, tight plotting, and rich lore… this book may leave you thirsty for more than blood.
The cliffhanger? It delivers just enough punch to spark curiosity for book two, but doesn’t quite capitalize on all the threads it weaves. Character motivations, especially Jack’s, sometimes feel rushed or underexplored, and emotional beats occasionally get eclipsed by the heat of the moment (literally). That said, the emotional stakes are promising, particularly Jack’s grief and the betrayal she feels around her father’s death.
Final thoughts:
If you came for vampires, spice, and sexual tension, you’ll be fed well. If you're hoping for a fully developed fantasy arc with no loose ends, you'll probably want to wait and see how the series progresses. For now, think of this book as a flirtation: hot, messy, and definitely not done with you yet.

Overall Rating: 5/5
My review:
This had me kicking my feet, screaming into my pillow, and questioning my morals.
A butcher’s life long deal causes her to live in a world targeted by vampires.
3 vampires and she’s got all 3 of them wrapped around her little human finger.

This book?? Unhinged. Spicy. Utterly feral. And I DEVOURED it. 😈🔥

I came for the vampires. I stayed for the spice. Jessalyn Jameson knew exactly what she was doing when she said “why choose?” and served up three dangerously hot vampires 🩸🍷

Meet the chaos:
🩸 Vinny – broody mentor with soft growls and big “I’m dangerous but secretly gentle” vibes.
🩸 Gannon – the ex who ghosted after a funeral and came back undead.
🩸 Elias – the vampire king. Arrogant. Possessive. Old-money deadly. Zero chill. Maximum heat. 👑🔥

💋 The spice? Let’s just say it escalates quickly. One second, you’re training with stakes, and the next… well, your Kindle’s on fire and your eyebrows are singed. It’s that level of feral steam. Do not read this in public unless you're prepared to blush violently.

This is vampire chaos erotica with a dash of vengeance, blood magic, and plot sprinkled between the unholy tension. And I’m completely here for it. 💅 Bring on Book Two. I am unwell.

Starting off a trilogy, A Bond Beyond Blood is an urban paranormal romance with a daughter that inherits her father’s butcher shop as well as his debts and multiple male vampire characters.

The first three chapters of the book sets up the backstory and then it jumps one year ahead. This gave the main female character, Jacqueline, relationships with two of the vampires before the events of the rest of the book. This made it seem less insta-lust when the spicy parts rolled around. It is not groundbreaking in terms of vampire stories; this one has three very different main male characters, each with their draws. I liked seeing how the three vampires dealt with each other around their individual attractions to Jacqueline. There are multiple story lines going on and some mysteries - not all are resolved by the end, setting it up for the next book.

Thank you Jessalyn Jameson for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley.
