A great analysis of arguably the most famous Daredevil arc of all time, but also a nice look at what it meant to Chris Ryall and some of Daredevil's history that affected the arc beforehand, and how it affected the title afterwards. When the book was first announced, I thought it would just be seven chapters detailing facts about each issue, which could get bogged down in minutiae, but I'm glad to see a more comprehensive look of the creators, the characters, and behind-the-scenes as well.

Daredevil is the Marvel comic I read the most, and he’s one of my favorite characters. This book explains why Born Again is such an important and powerful story, and I really enjoyed it. It explores Born Again in a way that shows why this storyline hit so hard, both in the writing and the art. A must read if you want to see why Daredevil stands out in Marvel’s history.
