Thank you to NetGalley for this advanced copy of Wild Rose, the first in the series of Blue River Springs. Wilder is running the ranch on his own, while his brother Dallas is grieving and it is running him ragged. His best friend Wes, the chef at the ranch, has a solution and a favor. Hire his "little sister" Rose as Wilders assistant for the summer. She is having trouble in NYC and could use the escape. Turns out trouble is Rose's middle name and she finds her own trouble on the ranch. Wilder is also nursing his own broken heart and wants nothing to do with a realtionship, but can't keep himself away from this kind of trouble.
I can't wait to read more in this series.

I seriously LOVED this one. I enjoyed every part of it. Rose and Wilder had such amazing chemistry, like from the beginning I felt their connection. Their moments together were sweet, deep, and also a bit spicy, which I really appreciated. I liked how Rose slowly opened up after everything she went through, and how Wilder was just everything. Not trying to fix her, just being there, supporting her. It was really beautiful to read. Both of them grew so much. Rose found her strength again, and Wilder felt like he finally had someone who truly saw him. Their bond felt honest and real, not rushed. I also liked how the story showed that healing looks different for everyone. It made the emotions feel more genuine and very real. I couldn’t stop reading. 5 stars easy. Already counting the days for book 2. Thank you so much to the author and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving a honest review

It was an amazing fantastic book. I really enjoyed it.
If you love cowboy romances you have got to read this book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In this book, we have:
✨️Grumpy Cowboy
✨️Brothers Best Friend
✨️Ranch Romance
✨️Wild FMC
This book has everything I enjoy in a cowboy romance!
We have Wilder, the grumpy cowboy stuck under the pressure of trying to hold the ranch together on his own whilst his brother Dallas is grieving. His best friend Wesley, who also works on the ranch, convinces him he needs some help, and he knows just the person, his sister!
Enter Rose, the wild child sister who breezes into Wilder's life and changes everything!
Rose comes across as impulsive, and even her brother thinks she can be a bit flakey, but there's a lot more to her story than anyone knows! It was great seeing her and Wilder's relationship develop despite multiple hurdles and set backs mostly from themselves!
The tension and slow burn between them was so good, I love that "f**k it" moment when they finally give in! Who doesn't want a bossy, possessive cowboy?? 🥵
And what would a good story be without some bar brawls, rival families, lots of drama oh and some grovelling!
Cowboy romances are a comfort read for me, and it looks like I've got a new series to add to my tbr. I'm looking forward to Dallas' story next!

I LOVE ROSE AND WILDER. this was such an easy read, especially because I’m obsessed with cowboys right now. Watching the chemistry build was amazing. They have such good chemistry. If you want a fun, easy read, this is the one for you. Cowboys are 🤭🤭🤭🤭

This book was so good I read it in one morning! I am a huge fan of the cowboys, and Wilder hit the spot. This book had me laughing at their banter, crying, and facepalming whenever Rose did something I knew was about to piss off Wilder. The secondary characters in this were so fun too and I can’t wait to read (hopefully!) more about them too!

Wild rose is a forbidden love story. The story is about wilder who needs help with his land and helps out his friend by agreeing to hire his friends younger sister. Rose is considered the flaky wild child by her brother. Wilder is attracted to rose but tries to ignore the attraction since she’s younger than him and its friends sister, I enjoyed the characters and the story. The story was longer than necessary.

The bare story itself is your typical small town cowboy romance but the plot and character development is what makes this story stand out.
Rose is a city girl looking for change in a job that her brother found for her in the ranch he works at and is owned by his best friend. She is perceived, by her family—more importantly her brother, as a train wreck who can't make her own decision even though she's a whole adult. If i'm being honest i was not a fan of Wes, her brother, i though he was rude and just never really cared to know or understand her and judge her. Rose was much likable and being able to see everything from her perspective made her really relatable. I enjoyed being in her pov and she was probably my favorite between her and wild.
Wilder (love his name) is a rancher who is struggling to run the ranch without the help of his brother, Dallas, who is grieving due to the loss of his fiancée. He gets saddled with responsibilities that overfill his plate and yet it seems like people don't respect him enough. He was a good character, I couldn't even imagine doing half the things he needed to do with but enough hours in the day.
I actually really enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters. I’m not a big fan of miscommunication but this book executes it well.
I was not a fan of Dallas, obviously grief was expected but completely neglecting duties and hurting others just because you can't be bothered to be better or care is not a trait I appreciate. I took a much better liking to him after his whole side plotline and him seemingly becoming more sober and actually taking responsibility. I know that his book is next and im looking forward to reading it when it's ready and seeing his character development.

3.5⭐
Solo me quedan unas semanas.

What a read this was! I loved it! The characters the storyline everything!! I loved Rose and Wilder and their chemistry🔥 and it really liked how the characters grew aswell and opened up to eachother🫶🏻 was really sweet to see Rose and her brother properly patch things up too. I sped through this ARC and the wilder/rose moments where soo cute! Im very glad they eventually got their happy ending🩷 this was a 5⭐️ read for me! I was hooked and I will definitely be reading more of this author's work! Thank you to netgalley and Roxanne for providing me with this ARC😊

Wild Rose was everything I wanted it to be. A small town, cowboy romance and brothers best friend all in one, what more could you ask for. This book is amazing, the dynamic between Rose and Wilder is perfect and their relationship turns into something beautiful. Its great to see Rose deal with her previous trauma but also trust Wilder after all of that. This book addresses mental health in a good way and shows progress people can make and that it happens to everyone differently. While still producing the best HEA. I really enjoyed this book and am very much looking forward to more of the Blue River Springs series.

Wild rose is a hea cowboy book. Rose is a woman who can’t sleep because of a past tragedy. Wilder is the cowboy who doesn’t want to fall in love again. But the two are destined to be together

I’ll be honest, I solely requested an arc of this because I absolutely adore the cover. Then I got won over by the tropes—cowboy romance and brother’s best friend? My bread and butter!!
Overall, I liked Wild Rose, but wasn’t a fan of Rose whatsoever. She was annoying and immature and half the time I just wanted to strangle her. Wilder though was 😍😍😍

Elsie Silver and Lyla Sage fans assemble cos Blue River Ranch has got you covered!
🤠 Brothers best friend
🤠 Workplace romance
🤠 Small town romance
🤠 Forced proximity
This book follows Rose who is the wild younger sister of the Ranch’s chef Wes. Rose is struggling with overcoming a traumatic event that Wes knows nothing about and needs a change of scenery.
Concerned brother Wes convinces his employer Wilder to employ Rose over the summer to help with the office work on the Ranch.
Many twists and turns later.... can Rose and Wilder be together?
Really easy read for me with some open door spice sprinkled in! Looking forward to seeing what comes next at the Ranch!

This book is perfect for fans of Elsie Silver, Lyla Sage and Devney Perry. It was my first time reading this author, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially if you’re a fan of cowboy romances. The book features several tropes, including an age-gap relationship, a brother’s best friend, and a cowboy. Rose is the wild younger sister of Blue River Ranch’s chef, Wes, who is best friends with the Thorne brothers. Wes convinces Wilder Thorne to take Rose on as an office assistant during the summer because she’s struggling in New York City. Wilder needs help because his older brother is mourning the loss of his fiancée. Rose is trying to overcome trauma after a frightening event at her dorm. Despite the many plot points, the book is a quick read and the first in a series. There are a couple of quick open-door scenes that you can easily skip if you’re not interested in them. Overall, I recommend checking out Wild Rose.

I loved this book! When can I get book 2?!!
I've read a few Roxanne Tully books and they never fail to hit the right spot, The characters are always well rounded, the plot is foolproof, the spice is spicy and they never fail to leave me wanting more!
There's something special about this cowboy romance in particular, I'm not sure if it was the self discovery BOTH MCs went on, FMC found independence, MMC found security in another - it was just beautiful.
But genuinely, can I get book 2 now please?

Another yeehaw man for me to be obsessed with I have to smile WILDER WAS EVERYTHING!! He was so perfectly grumpy but also so down bad for Rose I was obsessed. The only negative thing I have to say about him is that I wish he opened up earlier and I wish he handled the situation in the end differently but he made up for it so all is forgiven!! Rose was a misunderstood girly I felt so bad for her for most of the book I just wanted someone to listen to her and actually understand her. Willow was the ultimate friend for her I loved their friendship so so much! Now Wesley i’m not gonna lie really made me mad for a lot of this book he just never wanted to actually listen to Rose and judged her so much and even in the end I don’t think he really did much to earn forgiveness so I will be holding a grudge. Besides that though I really did love this book and I will be reading the rest of the series when it comes out!!!!

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest

⭐⭐⭐.3/4
Wild Rose by Roxanne Tully
Small-town charm? Yep. Brooding cowboy? Present and accounted for. Emotional connection? Ehh… not quite there. But listen, I’ll always show up for a dusty cowboy with issues and a slow-burn stare.
Summary (Spoiler-Free)
Rose is back in her hometown, bruised by life and not exactly thrilled to be staring down her past — especially when her past includes Wilder, the rugged, emotionally elusive cowboy who still knows how to make her heart do that thing. You know the one.
There’s tension. There’s unresolved hurt. There are stolen glances across feed buckets. It’s all very small-town dramatic — the kind of place where nothing stays secret for long and everyone has opinions on your love life, especially when it involves a man like Wilder.
What Hit the Mark
The setting: Total cozy, countryside vibes. If it were any more atmospheric, I’d be sneezing from imaginary hay dust.
The cowboy factor: Wilder is classic rugged-meets-guarded. Gritty on the outside, complicated under the surface.
Second-chance angst: I live for the slow burn of two people trying not to catch feelings again… while clearly catching feelings again.
What Didn’t Quite Work
I never fully connected with Rose or Wilder. I felt more drawn to the brother who lost his fiance. Something in the emotional chemistry just didn’t click for me — I felt like a spectator, not a participant.
The emotional stakes were there… but they didn’t always land. I wanted deeper vulnerability, more heart-hitting moments.
The romance moved, but it didn’t sweep me off my feet.
3.75 stars.
It’s a solid cowboy romance with the right ingredients: hometown tension, weathered hearts, and a man named Wilder who probably smells like leather and heartbreak. I didn’t fall head-over-heels for the love story, but I did enjoy the ride.
If you're in the mood for something soft, a little slow, and very western? This one checks the box. And hey — even when the story doesn’t completely hook me, I’ll always tip my hat for a cowboy with a complicated past and a jawline carved by saddle-wind. 🤠

💘 Grumpy x sunshine? Check.
💘 Brother’s best friend? Yee-freakin'-haw.
💘 Cowboy who falls hard but protects harder? I’m already packing for Blue River Springs.
This book is like a spicy romance candle: rustic woodsmoke, a touch of sweet hay, and a whole lotta “oh my god, did he just say that?” level of steam.
Rose is one of those FMCs you root for immediately; fiery, flawed, determined to shed the wild-child label and find her place in the world. She’s got a messy past, a mouth that doesn’t quit, and enough spark to light the whole ranch on fire.
Then we have Wilder, the emotionally constipated cowboy of your spicy small-town dreams. He’s got work calluses, slow blinks, and a tight grip on his self-control (until Rose shows up, obviously).
Oh and did I mention he’s her older brother’s best friend? I live for the “I can’t have her but I want her anyway” trope.
Together? 🔥🔥🔥
Think barn smoulders, forbidden glances, and plenty of “accidental” touching while wrangling hay bales.
The tension? Real.
The chemistry? Off the charts.
The slow burn? Deliciously paced.
What Worked for Me:
* The trope cocktail: Brother’s best friend + grumpy x sunshine + small-town + age gap = an irresistible mix. Tully blends them like a romance bartender with a PhD in reader cravings.
* Rose’s character arc: She’s not just there to be “tamed.” She’s figuring herself out. This book does a solid job of letting her growth take centre stage.
* Wilder’s soft underbelly: I mean, yes, he’s all scowls and strict boundaries, but underneath? Full golden retriever energy when it comes to protecting the people he loves. Cue swooning.
* The steam factor: This book does not play coy. Once the tension breaks, it breaks. The scenes are toe-curling, blush-worthy, and somehow still full of emotion. 10/10 would get caught sneaking this on my Kindle at work.
Wild Rose is the perfect cowboy romance to kick off a new series and I am officially obsessed with Blue River Springs. Between the sizzling tension, heartfelt moments, and dusty, swoon-worthy ranch vibes, this book hits all the romance reader buttons.
It’s like Yellowstone... if Yellowstone had more dirty talk and hotter makeout scenes in horse stalls.
If you're into grumpy men who finally break down for the right woman, or heroines finding healing (and hot cowboys) in small-town second chances, Wild Rose is calling your name. Loudly. And probably shirtless.
