After losing her husband in a tragic accident, Instagram influencer Clemmie Bennett sold her home and moved away from everything she knew.
For the last 18 months Clemmie has been renovating Rowan Cottage in beautiful Wynbridge and keeping to herself.
Now the cottage is finished and Clemmie thinks she might just be ready to venture out and make some new friends.
What she isn’t expecting is to meet the whirlwind that is Lizzy Dixon. Lizzy realises that Clemmie is behind the incredibly successful AutumnEverything Instagram account and decides that Clemmie would be ideal to organise the first ever Wynbridge Autumn Festival.
While it’s not the slow and steady re-introduction to life Clemmie wanted she can’t help being swept up in the enthusiasm for the event, after all Autumn is her favourite season.
But Clemmie does have a deputy to help her. Local vet Ash is more than willing to help Clemmie, but he may want more than Clemmie is able to give.
This is the perfect book to snuggle up. It’s funny, emotional, and full of characters you can’t help but like.

As someone who loves Heidi’s books, especially the festive ones, I was intrigued to know whether an autumn themed book could have the same magic. Well this one is certainly up there in my favourites - loved spending time with Clemmie, Ash and little Pixie. It was also lovely to have an autumn themed book with very little mention of Halloween. Another excellent book from Heidi..

I absolutely loved this book! Grief, love, and the autumn season feature heavily, and it’s just perfect. I particularly enjoyed seeing Clem opening her heart up to new love, and Ash was the perfect person to do just that. The writing was lovely, and dealt with the topics sensitively. I like a book where you feel like you’d fit right in, and I felt that way throughout.
Definitely read this book, I can’t recommend it more

Loved this story of Clemmie who after the death of her husband moves to Wynbridge and decides to buy a run down cottage called Rowan cottage and spends her time renovating the cottage so she can lead a private life.
Everything is going fine until she meets Lizzie the co-owner of The Cherry Tree Café who convinces Clemmie to organise first-ever Autumn Festival and a reluctant Clemmie agrees and fully involves herself. Then a encounter with the local vet Ash leads to Clemmie adopting a dog called Pixie and begins to feel like she belongs, and in time she her feelings for Ash grow but wonders if Ash feels the same.
This is a heart warming story of overcoming grief and finding love again.
Would highly recommend.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is my first read of a book by this author. I am aware she is popular and I can now see why. The plan for a series set in a lovely town, where you can read most books out of sequence with only a few minor spoilers being revealed, is a good idea.
That said, and even with someone still grieving as the main character, I found it too optimistic. Every problem was easily overcome and quite quickly so it appeared to me to be quite formulaic. Perhaps this is because it’s the eleventh book in the series and the author is running out of ideas.

This is a lovely and warm-hearted read centred around Clemmie who has been renovating a cottage in Wynbridge for eighteen months but kept herself away from village life while she started to recover from the grief of losing her husband. Clemmie is a huge fan of autumn so the opportunity to arrange an autumn festival provides a great opportunity for her to integrate into the community.
This was a thoughtful look at healing and the effect loss can have on us and the barriers that can stop us moving on. I also loved the focus on the joys autumn has to offer as it makes a wonderful change from focussing on Christmas events as a lot of Wynbridge books have. Clemmie and Ash made for lovely main characters and it’s always good to catch up with the familiar residents. I really liked how Clemmie got an unlikely ally as the book progressed and it wraps up in the warm way you hope it will but it’s a very enjoyable journey to get you there.

A sweet story of new beginnings, the process of grief and facing new challenges. It was lovely to have a story that embraced all things autumn and after a long hot summer, just perfect reading to bring the season change forward. I can’t say it’s my favourite Heidi Swain book however it was a glorious quick read, easy to get your head round the various characters with a predictable however lovely ending
Thank you to Netgalley the author and publishers for an arc in exchange for an honest review

Another fantastic visit to Wynbridge! I love this series and this is giving such wonderful Autumn vibes. It’s the perfect book to curl up with next to a roaring fire with a hot drink and a cosy jumper. It’s heartbreaking, romantic and highlights great friendships.

Clemmie moved to the outskirts of Wynbridge after the death of her husband. She has been living and renovating the cottage she bought and for the last 18 months and has kept away from the village. needing time on her own to grieve.
Until one day one of the locals knocks on her door asking for help .
Local vet Ash is single and the local town matchmaker is determined to find someone for him even though he is happy on his own.
i have rad all of the Wynbridge books and enjoyed them all including this one.

Autumn is my second favourite season after summer, as this is when my birthday falls.
All wrapped up is everything autumn. Leaves turning into their glorious colours, log fires burning, and cold, crisp sunny days.
Clemmie has been nursing her broken heart after the death of her husband in a tragic accident. After spending eighteen months renovating her new cottage in Wynbridge, Clemmie decides it's time to start meeting people and making new friends.
It was wonderful to catch up with Lizzie and Gemma at The Cherry Tree Cafe. It plays a big role in Clemmie's future.
We also have the handsome vet Ash who becomes close friends with Clemmie as they both organise the autumn festival together. Could romance be on the cards?
You will have to read this cosy, delightful read to find out.
I loved that this was all about autumn and the wonderful season it is after summer.
I really hope we return to Wynbridge again in the not too distant future.
Thanks to Netgalley and Simon and Schuster UK for the ARC in return for an honest review.

Loved the autumn vibes within this book! Rowan Cottage sounds absolutely amazing and I adored the cosy vibes that featured within this book!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book so much! Loved all the characters and the autumnal setting! It got me right into an autumnal mood, a really lovely cosy read! ,

A great autumn read, I loved the autumn theme and all the cosy descriptions, really got me into the autumn festival mood, so nice to see books celebrating a season that isn’t just Christmas or summer, as you can tell from reading, there is so much fun to had in autumn.
The story line of Clemmie loosing her husband and how she deals with it was really very touching and real, so many relatable thoughts and feelings. Ash is amazing too, he shows Clemmie that she can open her heart again and believe in love, plus Pixie the little dog is so cute.
Heidi Swain has done it again, a real page turner and thoughtful writing, great for curling up in front of the fire with on a dark autumn evening.

I absolutely loved it. Heidi Swain takes us back to Wynbridge . Can read on its own. You meet new and old characters. What a story. Very moving . Pixie the dog is gorgeous . I love the Autumn festival. There is sadness at times but it fits the story. Could not put it down. One of Heidi’s best. Read it with a candle and chocolate . You just escape.. Neat ending .

I couldn’t wait to catch up with all the going’s on in Wynbridge and I wasn’t disappointed, We meet the lovely Clemmie who is recently widowed and slowly putting her self back together. Once she is ready she settles in well and makes some lovely new friends which include some familiar faces and the lovely Ash.
It was great to catch up with lots of previous characters and I think this was a huge positive of the story as they featured all the way through the book.
Clemmie was a lovely character who I really felt for as she had been through a lot and I loved how she grew as the story progressed. I also enjoyed reading about her relationship with Pixie as they really needed each other.
I loved the focus on Autumn which is one of my favourite times of the year and I really enjoyed hearing all about the Autumn festival. Rowan Cottage sounded so cosy and I could just picture myself there with a hot chocolate.
A fantastic 5 star read and I think one of my favourite Heidi Swain books.
Thanks to NetGalley, Heidi Swain and Simon and Schuster UK for an advance copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Heidi has now written 21 books, I’ve had the pleasure of reading or listening to 20 of them. I love that she takes the reader back to familiar places. In this book, I felt like I had landed in Stars Hollow. The vibe and the love in the community, the togetherness, so heart warming and familiar. Of course Heidi has brought us back to Wynbridge, I literally whooped when I read the name Cuckoo Cottage as being close to one of the locations in the book, the converted barn in which Ash is staying. Yes, Ash the dashing vet.
Of course it’s not centre stage, she’s saved that for the cosy cottage named ‘Rowan Cottage’ in which widow Clemmie has been hiding for the past 18 months, having sold up and left her life behind to heal and grow at her own pace.
Cranky Jason is the star of the book for me as well as gorgeous Pixie, the dog.
My heart warmed at the mention of Germany too. So many things to connect with.
Now Clemmie is a very talented person and loves Autumn, she also have a very popular and extremely secret Instagram Account.
Clemmie’s journey is written at an even pace, she can be quite snappy at times and overbearing. Although grief can do that to a person. As a CPTSD sufferer, I could see where her battles with the here and now stemmed from and Heidi handled that aspect with great sensitivity.
Soon, she is involved in all kinds of activities in the town thanks to the Cherry Tree Café girls and their gossipy employee Joanne.
Her friendship with Ash isn’t all plain sailing, you can’t hurry or deny love, or can you?
As to be expected her romance thread is set up expertly with all the ups and downs to match.
I enjoyed this book so much, I read it in 3 sittings, it’s probably in my top 5 of the Heidi Swain collection. Recommended for existing fans and those new to her sincere writing style.
PS: yes, we got some magical Molly insight too.

As expected, I loved this book. I have been an avid fan of Heidi’s since book 1 and I knew this would not disappoint,
This book was set back in the heart of Wynbridge and follows Clemmie as she tries to rebuild her life after becoming a young widow. She tries to stay on the outside of the community but she is soon swept into their embrace in a way only Wynbridge can.
I love the “ber months” and this autumn festival is a super bonanza of crunchy, orange, spicy joy. It’s made me want to immediately light the log burner and get the pumpkins out! I hope Heidi shares the pumpkin soup and squash pasty recipes - and pictures of the bog that little Pixie is based on.
