Easy to read. Characterisation is well defined and nicely done. There were several sub plots happening at same time, which all seemed to find their own solutions at the same time and it all seemed to end quickly. I think I would like to live in that particular village as no one seemed to be angry with anyone and everyone seemed to help each other, so not really true to life but then we need some escapism, don't we.

I enjoyed reading every word of this book and it has planted Alexandra Brown as a favourite author for me. This is a wonderfully uplifting read and I highly recommend it.
