“Fly in the Chai” is a humorous, wholesome and pleasant children’s read. It has a good pace and cozy writing, making you want to sip a chai of your own. The imagery is beautiful and depicts the perfect story. Along the way we learn some words and about perfectly delectable dishes (I want to try them all) and an added chai recipe at the back of the book. A recommendation for readers young and old!

Funny book but also informative. I liked learning the new vocabulary. The glossary and recipe in the back were a great addition. I could see using this book as a library lesson on different cultures. The illustrations were a bit dark for me.

Fly in the Chai is funny, heartwarming, and incredibly fun to read! My daughters (2 and 4) loved the antics of the fly, and Nanu! They also loved learning about the delicious Indian cuisines in the book. The colourful illustrations add to the whimsical, gorgeous story. A must read for children of all ages!
