The end of this book KILLED everything I was loving about the beginning. Literally the last 20% was filled with me rolling my eyes and I'm so sad about it. It started off so strong and I was devouring it and then it just went wrong for me. I will say that Didi and Walker had fantastic chemistry! That part I loved and would read over and over again. The rest was a bust.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I connected with Didi's character a lot especially her thoughts and feelings towards love. This the first romance I have read that focuses on a character in the military and one who is wounded so it was definitely eye-opening and gritty at times. The plot went places I did not expect it to at times which was great and refreshing because I can usually predict what is going to happen. 3.5/5 stars
