A huge thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an e-arc.

I have to say I really enjoyed this book. The short alternating chapters helped me fly through the pages and I loved the two lead characters, I found that they were relatable and easy to follow.

The whole book felt like I was fully immersed in an episode ‘Emily in Paris’ and I was living for it, even the will they won’t they kept me happy even if I found some of it was slightly predictable.

I liked how the relationship was built, how the nerves were there throughout too.

Thanks for the enjoyable and speedy read!

Oh my!!!! What a beautiful love story . Set between France and London. Told between the two main characters. You cried at some points. Hard to review but read it. You just escape into the book. The head chef was a character and a half . I was glad all the restaurant workers got their happy ever after A neat proper ending .

This was so beautiful! If you’re an Emily in Paris lover like me and need a great book to help you fill the void until the show returns this is the perfect companion! Emma & Kieran were perfect!

At first I really did think I was going to hate this book and especially when I saw the miscommunication trope I thought it was game over but honest the miscommunication was so needed because it adds to the beautiful storyline of love and fate and being a hopeless romantic at heart. I really enjoyed it and I think it was a great read!

A lighthearted, feel-good, romantic love story which had me rooting for Emma and Kieran's paths to finally align. A modern romcom, reminiscent of those 1990's classics 'Sliding Doors', 'You've Got Mail', 'The Notebook' and 'While You Were Sleeping', this story did not disappoint!!! A beautifully written debut by Kate Penney, and a must read for all those romantics out there!

When Emma and Kieran's paths collide under the clock tower at Gard du Nord station, neither can ignore the real spark of chemistry! With imminent trains due, they're forced to go their separate ways- but not before Kieran, an up-and- coming chef, manages to slip his number onto a napkin for Emma.

Aspiring author Emma, is feeling let down by her lack of love life after a series of unsuccessful dates in London and her career seems stuck in a bit of a rut, ghost-writing for a minor celebrity.

Kieran, an up-and-coming chef is focused on establishing a name for himself in Paris, and isn't looking for love.

After plucking up the courage to get in contact with Kieran, the couple soon begin a whirlwind long-distance romance across the channel, but will it withstand the test of time? Can Kieran persuade Emma to make a go of living in Paris? Will their paths finally align, or will destiny have other plans?

Many thanks to Kate Penney, Netgalley and her publishers Hodder and Stoughton, for the chance to read an advanced copy of the novel.
