Read this book. Honestly, that is all I want to tell my fellow readers!

Centred round the long delayed reunion of a diverse and somewhat troubled group of friends and their spouses, this novel is packed with relationship challenges, reckless behaviour, long buried secrets, and more lies than you can imagine.

Told from multiple character points of view with ease and skill, all the many loose ends are beautifully tied together at the end. This five star read is not to be missed!

people change, people grow up and away. but do they grow into this lot. because wow. remind me never to take invite to reunions ever again lol. this was such a good one though. it was clever. it was full of tension and suspense because you know what got to come, you just dont know how spectacular its going to be yet. and you keep reading because you cant help but want to see it, you cant help but want to see whats to come.
this is a group who all meet for big party. but should this group really be meeting for a group party? there is secrets. there is things to come to the surface. and its all going to right here right now in one huge blowout.
im kind of glad i couldn't relate to any of these characters. these lot haven't quite grown out of school. and are still carrying around their burdens or plight almost like teenagers. but the messiness is what makes this book oh so exciting. and not liking the characters almost made it easier to read that.
i like how each voice felt like they were indeed individual. you get different points of view that really do sound different and you can imagine these separate characters. you get a great distinction and story to each of characters. and they were all very big and loud characters i would enter this room and leave this room pronto.
and this had the added mystery and murder element to it. so there was little sprinkling and bonus points to this book that gave it added voom.

This is a good read with lots of drama and more than few twists.

It is one of those reads that I couldn't for the end so I could discover the whos and whys. It is wonderfully told and my reading time was well spent.

I really got sucked into this one! A reunion with old friends turns way darker than anyone expects, and the secrets and twists kept me guessing the whole time. Perfect if you love suspenseful, twisty thrillers that you can binge in one go.

It should have been a night of champagne and second chances turns into a deadly countdown. Satterthwaite blends sharp tension with dark secrets as old friends reunite for a New Year’s Eve celebration—only for someone not to make it to midnight. Gripping, twisty, and full of suspicion.

I don't usually agree with the killer in a mystery book but this is one of that times. I enjoyed a lot, I hated the victim and loved the characters. I loved all the dinamics and the alternate POV.
I'm going to read more books by Jenna in the future.

I flew through this one!
Drama after drama and twist after twist.
This will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Firstly I was astounded at the way the characters have been written here. There is not a quiet unplanned one in this novel. Everyone is fully fleshed out and the sheer detail of their thoughts, feelings and leanings made me feel like I was watching it happen live. There haven’t been many times this year when character study has been so well showcased that I have bought the authors other work immediately.

This is exactly how I want to read reunions going forward, I loved hearing about why people didn’t want to go, it was so very well observed, why do we do these things?
It’s impossible not to relate to something or someone in this book and that will keep you reading all night.

I would also like to thank the author for Olivia’s story especially, this was dealt with so well, and even had a bit of hope at the end, so skilful.

I absolutely loved this one and so will everyone that enjoys well observed thrillers.

A page-turner with a fast- paced plot I can’t wait to read the next book by this author! If you’re looking for atmosphere, drama and suspense, then this is definitely book for. Just when you think you’ve worked it out, you’ll find you were wrong!

The blurb drew me in immediately and this book was utterly addictive packed with shocking twists that you’ll never see coming!

I loved every page I kept saying to myself “one more chapter and I will stop”, well that never happened, I raced through! You definitely don’t want to miss this one when it comes out!
