I loved this more than I thought I would, despite the slow start and often meandering descriptions. It tells a story about a family, generational grief, identity, and love. It does a great job of exploring complex human characters who feel realistic and damaged, but at times do grate on the reader. Overall though, a beautifully written book and will defintely read more from this author in the future.
