A powerful follow up to The War of the Roses. I remember watching the motion picture of the fist book and even as a teenager, I was saddened how a once loving couple's relationship could break down and spiral so out of control. Fast forward to the story of the children, 30 years later. Both children, have been affected by their sad past and the book explores how our childhood can massively affect how we behave as adults and react to situations and how our behaviour will also affect our children and we may do harm to them without realising the damage we are causing. A recommended read.
