A cute and cosy read, with a speckle of sweet romance. The cover is amazing, as is the back cover. It also has the advantage of being a quick read, with a non binary character.
All that appealed to me and made me hope to find myself cosied in between the page with an interesting time business going on. And yes, there is, but I couldn't help but feel that the resolution of the various obstacles the characters have to face is too easy and quick. Along with a pacing I couldn't get behind a time, it made this book an easy gliding read without much to get a grip on.
In the end, the author had a great idea and has great deal of potential, that didn't quite lived up to my expectations in this book. Still, a charming story. If you're looking for a nice little read, you might want to try this one out.

I was first drawn to this book by the beautiful front cover. The plot also intrigued me and I was so happy to find out one of the main characters is nonbinary. It’s always so wonderful to find books I can find myself represented in after so many years of never feeling seen in the books I read.
The time travel sounded like a fun element to the plot, but I’m sad to say I think this only made it more confusing. The perspective often switched with no warning which left the writing feeling disjointed and I kept having to reread lines to try and figure out what was happening.
The romance was sweet though and I think the author has promise
