All in for Christmas has everything I could wish for with a sweet second chance romance, cute dogs, quirky kids and a festive atmosphere. The banter flows full of witty laugh out loud funny moments and the romance is swoon worthy. I enjoyed the plot.

Thank you so much for the ARC!
This is a very sweet and cozy story about second chance romance with some magic realism. It explored the question, what if the one who got away never went away? What if you chose each other instead? Dean was the love of Paige's life even after they broke up six years prior. Seeing him again years later brought back all of the feelings for Paige. Magically, Paige wakes up one day in an alternate reality where she and Dean married had kids and an adorable dog. The story is heartwarming, I just had trouble connecting with the characters and getting into the story because of the narrative style. It made both characters felt much younger than they actually were.

I enjoyed this charming take on a second-chance Christmas romance. Paige can't believe the love of her life is now teaching at her school. She and Dean parted ways six years ago, and she often wondered if she'd made the right choice. What if they'd stayed together? Thanks to some Advent Calendar magic, Paige discovers the answer. She wakes up to find herself living a married life with Dean, including two kids and a lovable dog.
How did she end up here? How can she return to her real life? Does she even want to? This is a truly sweet, wholesome, closed-door romance. I loved all the characters, and I didn't know how Ginny Baird was going to wrap it up, which made it even better. This would make a perfect Hallmark movie. Thanks to NetGalley and Winter Wedding Press for the ARC.

This was a wonderfully done romantic comedy and worked well with the genre, I was engaged from start to finish and was invested in what was happening with the characters and their world. It uses the magical element that I was wanting and thought the overall story worked together with the characters. I was enjoying the way Paige and Dean were written and thought this was realistic and had that element that I wanted. Ginny Baird has a strong writing style and was glad I got to read this.

All in for Christmas by Ginny Baird feels like a perfect blend of festive charm, a sweet golden retriever, and a second chance romance that will give you butterflies! It’s one of those warm, and magical rom coms that makes for the perfect holiday escape! The story follows Paige, a practical and career focused teacher who thinks she’s got her life pretty much figured out, until her college ex, Dean, unexpectedly reappears and throws her for a loop. Then thanks to a little holiday magic, she wakes up in an alternate version of her life where she is married to Dean with two kids and a dog. Paige is suddenly navigating potty training, school drop offs, and household chaos while wondering if this alternate life is actually what she’s always wanted deep down. There’s a light touch of magical realism that works perfectly for a Christmas read. It’s heartwarming, hopeful, and full of charm!

4.5 stars. I really enjoyed this whimsical “what if” Christmas story featuring an alternate reality in which, Paige, and her ex, Dean, end up together in a bit of magic. In one reality, Paige is a single English teacher who split with Dean six years ago, when Dean left for an internship in Puerto Rico, and Paige remained behind to finish her degree. But in a new reality, Paige never got her degree, and instead married Dean, with them later having two kids and an adorable dog.
I love magical stories, and coupled with Christmas, ALL IN FOR CHRISTMAS was a winner for me. This concept has been done slightly differently before, but I really enjoyed the characters, writing, and plot. Five-year-old Eleanor and two-year-old Henry were especially delightful. And what isn’t there to love about their big, fluffy dog, Scout?
This was by no means a sappy romance. This book is for those who love Christmas with a bit of wholesome romance mixed in. And the ending was just perfect. I would love to see this made into a Christmas movie!
