Anna and Carole did a fantastic job. The story is sweet and the illustrations are the perfect accompaniment. The text could have been a little bit stronger. The nature drawings made me feel like I was actually outside. The themes of love, loneliness and family truly warmed my heart. Not all families follow the traditional route but love is still love.

I loved this book. A beautifully told story of a single adoptive parent finding their child and the special place they hold in their heart. Definitely something I would recommend to any adoptive parents/families. This book was so tender and sweet.

This story gave me wonderful feelings. I loved the way it went on a journey of how the heart feels completed once their child is born. This book had me tearing up a few times from how precious it is. I would 100% recommend this book.

This is a bright and bold picture book that follows Heart on a journey to find love, with beautiful illustrations that bring the story to life. Heart tries many ways to fill its missing piece, but it’s only when Heart meets baby Heart that the hole is truly filled.
The book is sweet and lovely, designed to help start early conversations about family and adoption. That said, the concept may feel a little abstract for young children to grasp on their own, and a discussion guide for parents would have deepened its impact.
Still, it’s a warm and thoughtful story about love, family, and belonging—perfect for families who want to open the door to adoption conversations.

"The Heart That Found You" is a wonderfully short children's book about finding love in a place you least suspect. We can go our entire lives everyday, trying to find that one thing that is going to bring us love and might not find it right off the bat, until we do. I think what struck me the most was the author's intention to write this story, because the idea of adoption and finding that family you have always wanted just hit me in the FEELS.

The Heart That Found You is a bright and colourful book about finding love in others and how it can help you see that you have so much love in yourself too. The sort of poetic writing style tied together perfectly with the vibrant and charming illustrations and delivers an important message on the importance of community. Very good book for young children to help teach them to be more loving and empathetic.

This book was very cute, and I read it to my nephew before his nap. He was dailed in and loved naming off the different illustrations he saw. The pictures were very colorful and detailed, he just wished it was a little longer.

Cute! A little metaphorical for my taste and wished it would have addressed the topic more head on. Liked the illustrations and overall message.

This was a lovely story, with sweet rhymes. This would really suit an adopted child and has a lovely message about love and family. The illustrations were wonderful, I liked that they were neutral so would suit a range of families.

Thank you for the ARC. This was a great book about adoption. It would faintly help children in a similar situation. We always love a good rhyme in this household as well as the story was full of them.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of The Heart that Found You. This is a super simple story about adoption and found family. This story was adorable and a rhyme scheme is always a hit! We will add this to our collection and reader's advisory for books about adoption.

The Heart That Found You is an adorable, gentle explanation into adoption for children. The illustrations beautifully capture love and throughly engaged my son, prompting him to comment how cute the hearts were on every page.
I do think the adoption message wasn't the clearest as I couldn't have told you what was actually happening if I didn't read the book summary beforehand.

These is a beautiful book about adoption and life timing. It is simple, but has a deeper message of things worth waiting for.

This is a wonderful book. The pictures are adorable and the story is beautiful!

This was such an incredible story & beautiful bright illustrations! I love that it had a bunch of rhyming, that’s always fun for children. Such a cool concept, I rarely see books touch the topic of adoption, especially for younger children.
Thank you NetGalley & Anna Schocket for the opportunity to read this story.

A sweet story about adoption and how love and family come in all shapes and sizes! I loved how cozy it felt and how vibrant the illustrations were.

A very sweet, heartfelt exploration of finding family. I think the message gets a bit muddled because of the illustration showing that something is physically missing from our main heart. The end has a clarifying image of togetherness, but I think the message would be stronger with more specific focus on adoption. Still very sweet!

What a beautiful book. The illustrations were absolutely fabulous and the overall message was gorgeous.

This sweet picture book shared a great perspective on adoption. It was so cute and the art was beautiful!
