A novel based on the leadership of Dwight Eisenhower (Ike), who was made Supreme Commander of Operation Overlord during WWII. An informative novel based on history that considers the pressures of command and events that took place, from the DDay landings and subsequent battles.
Very well written and well narrated book (I listened to the audiobook). Great characters who took the lead during WWII. Good storytelling based on historical facts and rumours about Ike’s personal life. Enjoyed this novel.
