I loved the first book in the Zoe Storm series, The Hanging Dolls, so was delighted to be given the chance to read Run for her Life. This can be read as a standalone as Zoe’s unique backstory is revisited. Zoe is an op intriguing character and whilst her childhood experiences have caused her much emotional trauma, they have also allowed her to develop into the determined special agent that she is today. A cryptic note leads Zoe to Pinewood Falls where a small town mystery links to the tragic fire in the abandoned fun house, family tensions in the boardroom and relationship breakdowns. A must read for fans of Lisa Gardner and Stacy Willingham.
