This is the first book I read in this series so I don't know how it compares to the rest. I do like the idea and the world, having the main character be a herbologist and having a stutter was definitely something new and unique.
With that being said, she was the most awful FMC I have seen! Absolutely frustrating until the end. Only showed a bit of back bone on the last 20 pages. Eurus was the one carrying this story for me, and had good character development. Wish we had his POV because being in Min's head was too much.

An amazing finale to the series! I was worried that there would be something missing from the ending that would leave me feeling unsatisfied - but I didnt need to worry - it was BRILLIANT!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book. A 4 star rating from me. Loved the plot and the storytelling and relatable, likable characters. Loved every single second reading it.

What. A. Finale.
The East Wind wraps up Alexandria Warwick’s Four Winds series in the most gorgeously dark, myth-soaked way.
Inspired by Rapunzel and Psyche and Eros, this story takes us into a world of chained gods, deadly poisons, and impossible bargains and it had me hooked from page one.
Min of Marles is such a fantastic FMC. She’s quiet, observant, underestimated but also deeply powerful in her own right.
Her relationship with Eurus, the East Wind, is slow burn tension at its absolute finest: enemies forced together, reluctant allies, and then something much more dangerous. Their dynamic reminded me of everything I love about romantasy! The angst, longing and impossible choices.
The City of Gods tournament was such a fun addition too. Think high stakes, cutthroat trials, and layers of betrayal and scheming. Exactly the kind of epic scope I wanted for the finale.
If you love myth inspired romantasy with gods like me, curses, and slow burn intensity, this is such a satisfying conclusion. I can’t believe the Four Winds series is over...but wow, what a way to end it.

I thought this was a really nice finish to the series of books. I really enjoyed the character development of both Min & Eurus and their relationship. You could really connect with Min’s moral dilemma and I thought writing a story about two characters with such dark pasts really added to their growth. Loved all of the other books, this was no different. A very enjoyable and easy read.

I was really excited to get an ARC of The East Wind and, despite what felt like a slow start, I enjoyed Warwick's fourth offering as much as her others. I found Min harder to like at points - she frustrated me - but I enjoyed their love story and liked the brothers reuniting.
