This was a strong opening chapter in the Phoenix Knight series, it does a great job in creating the world and how the characters were used in this universe. James Ungurait has a strong writing style and was engaged with what was going on and how the story progressed. It worked well in this universe and was able to use the genre perfectly to tell the storyline and glad I got to read this. It left me wanting to read more in this world and from James Ungurait.
