The title of this book appealed to me, and I wanted to know how one can lead effectively using empathy. Dr. Melissa Robinson-Winemiller shares how her own journey has been molded by the lack of empathy she found at a dark time in her life. She shares valuable information in this resource about what empathy is not and the importance of bridging the gap between knowing the importance of emotional intelligence and its application. This book is a resource I will return to as needed, and I will be recommending it to other leaders I know who struggle with being empathetic. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.
