Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. A sweet love story filled with intrigue and a lot of what if’s. Madeline and Adam met on her first day at the new high school her mom had moved them to surreptitiously. They bonded immediately and knew they were each others forever. Adams life has been filled with loss. He feels so much gratitude that rather than foster care, his best friend Jasons parents, allowed him to stay with them. Having a soft place to land rather than foster care meant everything to him and his goal was to work hard and save up so that when Jason went off to college, he could support himself wherever Madeline decided to go to college. When Jason offers him an opportunity to make a lot of money, he jumps on it. He trusts Jason completely. Things aren’t always as they seem. When Adam dies, Madeline is devastated and can’t get over the loss. Years go by, she is now engaged to Jason and is shocked she sees a video that is either Adam or his doppelgänger. She can’t let it go and goes on a search to find him. Through flashbacks and deep dives into the here and now, things come to light. Betrayal, true love, lies upon lies and still so many unanswered questions. This is a fantastic story that had me rapt. It’s a fabulous beautifully narrated journey to the truth. I enjoyed every moment and cannot wait until the next in the series. I can’t believe I have to wait until next year!

Thank you NetGalley, Melissa Weisner, and Bookouture Audio for the opportunity to listen to this audio arc. I thought the narration was incredibly well done by Greg Lockett, Lauryn Allman and the production was clear. The actual story felt reminiscent of Lucy Score’s Knockemout series in the best of ways. This was a book that I’m so glad I stumbled on because I loved the story flow and the characters and while I did guess some of the twists I didn’t guess them all. I can’t wait to see how the next book in the series comes together!

This book had everything romance, conflict, and a mystery! It reminded me of a Mia Sheridan or a Jennifer Hartmann book. Not a lot of spice, only one scene, but everything else made up for it. I was completely glued to my headphones the entire time!! I can’t really summarize without giving anything away. This book was well written with lots of great emotion. It completely drew me in and swallowed me up. This book was intense and the emotion was deep and satisfying. The plot was interesting and engaging. I loved every minute of this small town romance. I can’t wait to be back in Sandy Harbor again. This is my first book by Melissa Weiser, and it certainly won’t be my last! I need to binge her backlist immediately! I received this book from Bookouture Audio and Netgalley. All opinions are my own!

I love Melissa Weisner's books.
This one had a huge 'Virgin River' feel to it, and seeing as there's going to be a second book, I really hope there is longevity in the characters!
The setting is gorgeous, and I could visualise all the scenery so clearly.
This book has all the drama and I couldn't stop reading. I also had the audiobook version and the narrator was fabulous.

Madeline and Adam share an instant connection when she starts her senior year in a new town. With Adam’s best friend, Jason, the three quickly form a close bond. But everything changes the night Adam’s truck goes into the water—while Madeline and Jason watch helplessly. There’s no way he could have survived.

Fast forward ten years, and Madeline is now engaged to Jason. But when she sees a news clip of a man who looks just like Adam in the beach town where she grew up, she can’t shake the feeling that it might really be him. She decides to spend the summer there, trying to uncover the truth. Is this man her long-lost love Adam, or someone entirely different—Garrett, who seems familiar in some ways but a stranger in others?

This story blends romance with just the right amount of suspense, and it kept me hooked until the very end—I listened in one sitting! I’m really curious to see where the second book takes things.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture Audio for the free advanced copy. I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

This one had me right from the start!!

Maddie (Madeline) and Adam met in HS when Maddie transferred to this new school and thought she was never going to make any friends. Instead, she has an instant connection with Adam, not so much a meet cute, but quite the story! And then, right after that she meets Jason… who is also vying for her attention!

The three of them become the best of friends… but there’s also romance!

And then, one of them is gone! 😕😢🥺

We go back and forth between dual timelines of then and now…
So, HS and then in their mid to late 20’s….

Life looks very different in the ‘now’ timeline… and Maddie has really never healed… no matter how hard she’s tried….

She is now a HS English teacher… and one day, one of her students happens to be streaming a live video of a beach rescue…. and Maddie freezes! Because what she sees absolutely cannot be true! Because he is dead!

And this is when the real story begins… as Maddie tries to search out the truth!

This one made me laugh. It also made me cry. I had feelings of total love and sweetness… and then just as quickly, despair and utter sadness.

And the way the author paints a picture of the three of them, well, you feel like you are right there… living life along side of them!!

ALL the stars for me!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✨✨✨✨✨💫💫💫💫💫

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:
Story: 5 stars Narration: 5 stars Overall: 5 stars

All The Ways You Save Me is a beautiful heartbreaking and heartwarming story. The book is a blend of romance, mystery and suspense. It is a story of young love, intense grief and everlasting love. Madeline and her family moved to a new town for her senior year of high school. On her first day she meets Adam and they have an immediate and special connection. In first period she meets Jason who is attracted to her. She discovers that they are best friends at lunch. Adam and Maddie are soulmates who spend time with Jason as friends. Months later, Adam is in an accident and presumed dead. Maddie is devastated and Jason is …..
Fast forward ten years-Maddie and Jason are engaged. Then Maddie sees a video of a man who looks like Adam saving two children. She goes to investigate. This causes Maddie and Jason to break up.
The dual narration by Lauryn Allman and Greg Lockett was extraordinary. Their portrayal of these characters was absolute perfection. Lauryn Allman was brilliant as Maddie. I could feel all of Maddie’s emotions from her uncertainty, sadness to her love, passion, grief and happiness through her voice. Greg Lockett was fabulous as Adam/Garrett and Jason. All of the love that Adam had for Maddie was very clearly expressed in his voice. I highly recommend listening.
Thanks to the author and NetGalley for this ALC.

Wow, this was my first book by Melissa Wiesner and now I’m going to be searching out her backlist. This is a small town romance, with high school sweethearts, heartbreak and grief, new/old flame, and an intriguing mystery that spans 10 years. So I might call it “romantic suspense.”

Madeline and Adam were high-school sweethearts, and Jason their mutual best friend. The trio did everything together. But one awful night, they lost Adam in a terrible car accident. Ten years later, Madeline and Jason are planning their wedding. They’ll never forget Adam, even though Jason doesn’t like to talk about the past. But Madeline has some misgivings. So she goes back to her hometown on the beach in New Jersey (where she lived until her mother suddenly uprooted her to the town in Pennsylvania where she met Adam and Jason), and while walking along the ocean, she is pulled into a strong current. Madeline is saved by a stranger on the beach. As she gazes at his familiar features, she could swear he’s Adam. But the man says his name is Garrett. He’s kind, but distant. Was Madeline confused or is Garrett actually Adam, who somehow survived that car accident?

The story bounces back and forth in time, but the chapters are clearly labeled so there’s no confusion. And we get chapters from both main characters’ POVs. Once I started reading/listening, I didn’t want to stop and I finished this one in just a couple of days. I had access to both the digital copy of the book and the audiobook and I loved having two narrators on the audio.

I loved the strong sense of place in this story. Much of the book takes place on Sandy Harbor, a barrier island on the New Jersey shore. I’m convinced this is based on the wonderful Long Beach Island, where my family has spent some vacation time. The descriptions were spot-on. I loved the tourists-locals dichotomy.

The main mystery gets explained/solved and I did guess one or two things about it, but definitely not the complete picture. There are some additional “sub-mysteries” that did not get wrapped up neatly by the end of the book, so I’m really looking forward to the next book in this new series.

Warning: There are some explicit scenes.

Thank you to Bookouture, NetGalley and Booked With The Emilys for the opportunity to read an advance readers copy of this book and to Bookouture Audio and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to an advance copy of this audiobook. All opinions are my own.

All the Ways You Save Me is a deeply moving romance about first love, second chances, and a connection that never fades. Melissa Wiesner's writing is tender and lyrical, pulling you right into the emotions of the characters from the very first page.

The story follows three best friends: Madeline, Adam, and Jason. While Madeline and Adam fall in love as teenagers, Jason remains the supportive friend. Their lives are shattered when Adam is in a tragic accident and presumed dead. Ten years later, Madeline and Jason have found love and are planning their wedding. Then, a video of a man saving children on a beach surfaces, and Madeline's world is turned upside down. The man looks just like Adam. But he's dead... right? Compelled by hope and a flicker of a past she thought was gone forever, Madeline returns to her hometown to find out the truth.

The plot unfolds beautifully across dual timelines and is told from the alternating perspectives of Madeline and Adam, giving us a rich look into their past and present. I found myself rooting for them every step of the way. The story is a powerful exploration of love, loss, and redemption, filled with twists that will keep you guessing. The seaside setting feels like a character itself, and the heartfelt moments perfectly blend nostalgia, longing, and hope. The only thing that would have made this even better would have been a chapter or two from Jason's point of view.

This is the kind of story that steals your heart and lingers. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I need to shout this from the rooftops 📣 BUY THIS BOOK when it releases on August 19th! 🗓️

This instantly became a top favorite. I went in expecting a love story (and yes, it is ❤️), but it’s also so much more, suspense, mystery, and those can’t put it down moments that keep you hooked until the very last page.

The writing is flawless, the characters completely pulled me in, and honestly… this book is a 10/10. 🌟

Melissa Wiesner, I’m officially your biggest fan. 🙌
Huge thanks to NetGalley, Melissa, and Bookouture for the ARC 💌

This started off slow for me and I was close to giving up but I’m glad I didn’t. Once it started going it took off fast with different mysteries and questions needing to be answered everywhere Madeline looked. Lowkey always hated Jason, he was a sketchy man who pressured Madeline to date him/get engaged and didn’t care whether his best friend was alive or not which major red flag. Loved the story and the family Garrett/Adam created in his exile

High quality audio book perfect for romantic mystery lovers everywhere. This had me both listening and reading long in the night as i drew to care about the characters and wanted to see how it turned out. The plot at times could have been a hollywood film. The multiple pov were well narrated and engaging. Lost love is something most can relate to but the what if's were made more pogiant due to tragic accident 10 years ago where dad was lost and declared dead. This left you feeling how complex the heart is but just how sometimes despite the years it can still feel those feelings even more powerfully and with the growth of the character moving on is not always the right thing to do. Ive cried and screamed and smiled and felt i cant wait for the next in the series. The audio did give me a bit more to the characters than the book. This is a 5 star listen. Thank you netgallery, publisher and author and narrators.

A love that will last forever. A rollercoaster of emotions, flashbacks from the past intertwined with an emotional present. Madeleine lost the love of her life, Adam, ten years ago to a tragic accident. Then how is it possible that she sees him in a life video rescuing some kids from the sea? She must find the truth even if it cost her her future. The web between her, Adam and their best friend Jason is more complicate that they could ever imagined. But the only way is find the truth. The audiobook with Greg Lockett and Lauryn Allman makes the story even better. Thanks to NetGalley for the ALC copy. This is my honest review

This book is so good. I was hooked from the very first page. Madeline's struggle with everything that occurred. The innocent love between Madeline and Adam when they first meet when she moves to Maple Ridge was so sweet and you could feel the emotion between them.

This book occurs through going back and forth between 10 years ago and the present. Madeline and Adam meet when her mother abruptly moves the family from Sandy Harbor to Maple Ridge. Madeline is very upset with her mother for the move, but that begins to change after her first day at her new school. She meets Adam and his best friend Jason. This starts one of those timeless feeling loves with Jason playing the third wheel, even though he definitely seemed into her as well but backed off for Adam. Then tragedy strikes when Adam dies from an accident.

There starts Madeline's path with moving on and falling for Jason because he is there for her. Madeline become a teacher and on the last day of school a student shows her a video that changes her entire world. This begins a journey of discovery and revelations. I cannot recommend this book enough. You will not be disappointed.

The audiobook was also wonderful and the narrator did a wonderful job of bring the story to like and evoke the emotions in the book. It made the book so much more when I listened and read them together for full immersion.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and Bookouture Audio for the advanced copy of the book and the audiobook. All my opinions are my own.

This story grabs you from the first chapter. It’s hard to put down because you want to figure out what is happening! This is not my usual genre, and I was glued to the story trying to figure out how it happened/where things went wrong. The story is beautiful and heartbreaking. This heartbreak and the grief that follows are written so beautifully.

The narrators did an amazing job! The author absolutely killed it with the storyline. An all around great read!

This is my second book by author Melissa Wiesner, and this is another home run for me. I loved this book from start to finish!

All the Ways You Save Me had a little bit of everything for every kind of fan. It has some heavy moments that will make you cry, some thrilling moments that keep you on the edge of your seat, some feel-good moments, and even moments of mystery that I can’t wait to see get resolved in the next book.

Madeline is forced to leave her hometown and move to PA. She is lucky enough to find Adam and Jason. Adam quickly becomes the love of her life. Ten years ago, Adam tragically died in an accident, and Madeline is now with Jason. Madeline sees a live video on Instagram of a surfer saving two kids. Once she sees the surfer's face, she believes it’s Adam and goes on an investigation to find him.

This book surprised me in so many ways. For starters, you find out early on if the stranger is Adam or not. This was not held for the end. There was also a significant mystery that remained unexplored. They leave that for the next book, but tease you just enough to make you excited.

This book really did have it all, and the next book in the series has gone to the top of my list of most anticipated books.
