This is the 15th? book in the series and I don't feel like I missed anything by not having read the other books. I may have to go back and start the series from the beginning. I liked the chararcters. The lead detective and her husband were an interesting match, so maybe the earlier books really fill that relationship in. The storyline was interesting and I never guessed who did it.

It was a terrific read, and a whip smart narrative that holds you from page to page! The characters were great, the story itself was very enjoyable with plenty of twists and turns that’s kept me turning the pages! I was so transfixed to the story I read it within a few hours as it was only 18 chapters.

I’d highly recommend everyone to add this book to your reading list, you won’t be disappointed!
