A cozy fall read that just invites a cup of hot apple cider and a blanket. This was such a quick audio book and the narrator was lovely. Madison and Zach’s story is meant for a hallmark/Netflix movie. The two have a past that was clearly never resolved. And now that Madison is back in town to save her family inn, they’re confronted with all their old feelings. Would recommend a trip to the honeymoon suite on this one .

I truly loved this book! The narrator was fantastic and I was swept off into a charming small town of Maple Falls. I enjoyed the small mystery aspect, the towns characters that made the story and the Inn.

The autumn vibes were amazing in this book! I loved the writing and the descriptions. Autumn is my favorite season and this small town, with all its activities and decorations, was so cozy and inviting.

Madison goes back to her home town to help rescue her families Inn and runs into her childhood ex-boyfriend Zach. Their journey is sweet, heartwarming and you'll find yourself rooting for these two. I saw both of their sides of the story and why they broke up. Seeing the rekindling of their relationship was beautiful. I can't wait to read more by Harper Graham.

Read this book if you like:
-second chance romance
-fall vibes in a small town
-Hallmark movies with a bit of extra spice
-mystery
-slow burn, love stories

It’s time to ditch the beach reads because it’s time for cinnamon spice and all things nice! This might sound absolutely ridiculous but I could SMELL this book and I listened to the audio! I’m sure there were mouth-watering baked goods mentioned on every other page! The Cinnamon Spice Inn is the perfect book to get you into the autumn mood. Think small town romance featuring a Gilmore Girls-esque cast of characters and just a sprinkle of mystery. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Thank you to Harper Graham, Bookouture Audio and Netgalley for the advanced audio copy of this book.

🍂Cinnamon spice, charm & all things cozy vibes makes this book a perfect read for the cooler weather! I immediately fell in love with this small town romance. The characters are fabulous, the second chance romance is so sweet and there is such a great story. The tropes are addicting: enemies to lovers, second chance, romance, childhood sweethearts and so many more. There is definite spice with a very swoony and hot handyman in Zach!

Andi Eloise is the narrator for this particular book along with Brandon Francis at the end. Overall, the narration is solid from Eloise. There were times where I felt there could’ve been more emotion or feeling displayed in the narration. Still I do like her as a narrator and I did enjoy listening to her read this particular story. Brandon Francis is wonderful as he is in all the books I’ve listened to him narrate.

If you’re looking for all the wonderful fall vibes of a small town then this is the one you want to read. I recommend giving it a listen!🍂

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Graham for the ARC, and though I’m a day late to release, I’m so honoured to be given advance copies of audio- and e-book!

3.5 ⭐️ There are things I liked and didn’t about the book… here they are…

Liked:
- Absolutely sets the scene for fall
- small town second chance romance with a super thoughtful MMC who never stopped pining for the FMC
- autumn vibes, cosy cabin, cinnamon buns
- everyone in the town chipping in to help the inn
- timelines were interesting. The big “issue” of the breakup came up earlier than i expected.

Didn’t like:
- miscommunication everything…. Till the end.
- MMC forgave FMC so easily at the end… I’d still be pissed.
- character arcs were kinda flat? I didn’t feel like either MC really grew much.

Overall I still did enjoy the book and it definitely has set the scene for my fall reads. The vibes were so good.

A lovely and cosy seasonal read for any autumn/fall lover. We have the city girl returns home to save a flailing family business trope. I’ve not long recently read a similar book but listening to this felt different. The audiobook was great and had plenty of sexual tension that we didn’t have to wait until the last 10% of the book to get to. All in all a great autumnal read.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is the first book in the Maple Falls series by Harper Graham. Overall, I found this book to be an enjoyable read, though it wasn’t without its flaws. The story initially captured my attention, but I found myself somewhat frustrated by the recurring miscommunication trope between the two main characters. After an argument they had in their early twenties, the inability to have a mature conversation about it until the very end of the story felt unrealistic, especially considering the intense physical chemistry they shared. It created a bit of a disconnect for me, as it seemed they could easily engage in passionate moments but struggled to communicate effectively, which didn’t sit well.

Despite these issues, I eventually became more invested in the characters and their journey. While the miscommunication element was a point of contention for me, I’m still intrigued enough by the story to look forward to the next book in the series. I was particularly drawn to The Cinnamon Spice Inn because of its autumn-themed setting and the beautiful cover, especially as I’m looking forward to cooler weather to break the summer heat. While this one didn’t fully hit the mark for me, I’m hopeful that the next installment will address some of the dynamics that felt off in this first book.

The perfect book for entering into cozy season. A second chance romance that gives all the swoon. It tackles real subjects and the characters by the end have gone through growth the better themselves. A definite must read to get in the fall mood.

The autumnal descriptions provided a cosy, pumpkin spiced atmospheric read.

The inviting town of Maple Falls and its residents were heartwarming.

The mysterious letters encouraging Madison and the town folk to help support the Cinnamon Spice Inn were a fabulous addition.

The continued miscommunication between Madison and Zach was beyond irritating. Grow up already and learn from your mistakes!

The narrator did a fantastic job of working with the male and female voices and projected wonderfully through the elderly voices too.

This is a cosy autumn book. I think its just fine. I am really dissapointed in the misscommunication trope though, I am not a fan of them at all. But the story was cute and sweet. I do feel like it's very forgettible. It sort of blends with all autumn themed cosy books.

Tropes and vibes:
- Second chance
- She comes back to town
- From lovers to hate to love again
- Cute autumn vibes
- Good audio narration

RATING
⭐️⭐️⭐️ /5

THE CINNAMON SPICE INN by Harper Graham is a small town, cosy romance in which we follow the questionable steps of two ex-lovers trying to find their path back to each other..or, for the majority of the book, into the opposite direction. That is being complicated by Madison's return from big city life to a crumbling family inn that she works hard to fix. All in a town she pushed to the back of her mind. Alongside a certain someone who decided to stay. Her childhood sweetheart..Zach. Old memories resurface and new questions about her future arise upon her return.

Perfect for fans of:
~ second chance romance
~ miscommunication trope
~ autumn vibes
~ atmospheric writing
~ rainy days reads

MAPLE FALLS, an atmospheric small town which lives and breathes autumn, cinnamon rolls and pumpkin-spice latte, is what's best about this book. The world description is so whimsical and cosy that you will want to cuddle up into a blanket even in summer. H. Graham's writing is exceptional in creating *feeling* of the place, rather than a simple description of what our main characters can see around them. So, if you want to have your mind filled with golden leaves drifting in crisp autumn air, look no further!

THE ROMANCE however, is where I tell you a bit more about the "questionable steps" of Madison and Zach. The romance heavily leans into the miscommunication trope. Which, for me, in this case didn't quite work.
The book switches POV's so you fairly quickly discover both sides of the story. After, you are left screaming at the pages [for the majority of the book] for the characters to just *talk*. And then, when the actual truth is discovered by both parties....they do nothing to resolve it.
"Oh well, what can we possibly do now?"
SOMETHING. A N Y T H I N G.

They don't. Instead, they simply yearn for each other. Which, technically, has it's own appeal..but it can quickly start to feel repetitive.

Did I mention a new "miscommunication" is created for the sake of them not doing anything about the first one? It doesn't really feel like they communicate enough to have a miscommunication in the first place.

And then, when you get lost in the struggles of rebuilding the Inn and the experience of Maple Fall's cosy autumn activities, the story wraps up.

THE LISTENING EXPERIENCE was wonderful. The soft and emotion-filled narration of Madison added even more magic to the whimsical autumnal hometown vibes. The whole story is narrated by the one voice actress, but the performance style brought both characters to life with distinct tones of voice. Narration style fit the mood of the romance book beautifully, and overall, the flow of the story was naturally immersive.

ALL IN ALL
I gave this book 3 stars because, while it wasn't totally for me, I can see the appeal for the target audience.
So, if you enjoy contemporary romances, character-driven stories, and are in the mood for a quick, cosy autumn read that will leave you warm inside, The Cinnamon Spice Inn will be a delightful choice! ♡

🎧 The audiobook was narrated by Andi Eloise and I really enjoyed listening to it. A lovely story that warms the heart. We find ourselves in a small town, where our main heroine Madison is led by a mysterious letter to save her family’s legacy — an inn (The Cinnamon Spice Inn). Of course, the town also happens to be home to her ex-boyfriend Zach, with whom she didn’t exactly part on good terms. By chance, they’re forced to spend time together in order to save the inn.

The story is told from both perspectives, so we get to experience it from both sides. Very quickly, we learn that there was also a misunderstanding that both characters have been living with. What bothered me a little was the repetition of certain thoughts and information — and I don’t mean they were just mentioned twice, but repeated several times across consecutive chapters.

Otherwise, the plot flowed nicely, and there was also the mystery of the letters woven into it. Madison finds out she wasn’t the only one to receive a mysterious letter. The resolution was really beautiful and perfectly complemented the cozy atmosphere that truly feels heartwarming.

I can definitely recommend this book if you love autumn, or if you’re looking for a comforting read for chilly days. And also if you enjoy any of these tropes:
🍁 Dual POV
🍁 Small Town Romance
🍁 Cozy
🍁 Second Chance Romance
🍁 Fall, Halloween
🍁 (Enemies to Lovers)
🍁 Childhood Sweethearts

This book honestly felt like having a warm cup of coffee on a rainy day, the kind that just settles into your soul and makes you feel safe, cozy, and content.

There was such a sense of comfort within the story that I found myself sinking into it so naturally, like it was written to be read slowly and savored. I’ve always believed that second chance stories only truly leave an impact when they’re done right, when the emotions aren’t rushed but built with care and depth. And this book, to me, was the perfect example of how to do it well.

The characters were such a joy to follow, and each of them brought something unique to the story. That said, I do think the male main character could have been explored a little more. There were moments where it felt as if his presence was overshadowed, almost like the focus leaned more on the female lead’s journey rather than balancing the two perspectives. But at the same time, I can’t really complain too much, because the female protagonist’s arc was so beautifully done. The way she slowly came into herself, finding her strength and realizing she had always belonged in Maple Falls it was moving to watch.

What I loved most was how natural her growth felt, like it wasn’t forced or exaggerated but written with a quiet truthfulness that made it relatable. Her journey of self-discovery didn’t just make me root for her, it made me reflect a little on belonging, love, and the places that shape us. And even if the male character didn’t get as much time in the spotlight, it almost felt intentional as if the story wanted to remind us that sometimes the greatest love story is the one you have with yourself, and with the place you call home.

All in all, I can easily say this book was everything I hoped it would be. It was heartfelt, comforting, and filled with the kind of warmth that lingers even after you’ve turned the last page. And while there may have been little things here and there that could’ve been done differently, they feel so small in comparison to the beauty of the whole.

➳ "Overall, if you’re on the hunt for the perfect fall read, this book is truly it. cozy, heartfelt, and full of warmth, it’s the kind of story that makes you want to curl up and savor every page."

This book is a cute little fall romance. I enjoyed listening to it. The characters were done well and you could feel the coziness of the layout. Most of the problems in the book could have been settled with a conversation, but if miscommunication is something you like, then this book is for you. I love the happy ending. And even though this is not what i usually read, i enjoyed it. And rate it a solid 4 stars. Jump into fall at the cinnamon spice inn.

I want to say thank you to Netgalley, Bookouture Audio, and Harper Graham for giving me the opportunity to review this audiobook.
This book is an absolute delight. I am a girl who loves fall and this book has all the cozy fall feels. If you are looking for a book to get you in the mood for the fall season, this is it!!! This book has a very Gilmore Girls feel to it. I wish Maple Falls was a real place to visit, because I would definitely be taking a trip there this fall.
I loved the characters, they were delightful. Madison is called back to her childhood home of Maples Falls by receiving a mysterious letter through the mail. The letter states that she needs to come home and help out with the failing cinnamon spice inn. While she is there she runs into her ex Zach. And from there the tension begins the two. Will they or won't they get back together?
This book had the right amount of romance and spice. I would definitely love to read more books by Harper Graham. Harper Graham creates a world to make you feel you are there in the world she has created. I also love the the narration by Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis. They really brought the characters to life.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn
Harper Graham

Love is the sweetest spice of all.

This is a cozy, small town, enemies to lovers and second chance romance powerhouse read.

Self-confessed coffee addict and food writer Madison has convinced herself she belongs in NYC. But then she’s called back home to Maple Falls to save her childhood home, The Cinnamon Spice Inn. She’s relaunching the Inn to save it from financial ruin and her ex Zach is the handyman doing the renovations. Sparks fly as they prepare for the big Halloween reopening.

This certainly hit many tropes but the miscommunication one was front and center.

This was a light and easy read for me. The narration was wonderful and kept me engaged throughout.
