The Cinnamon Spice Inn is a perfect book for any Fall romance lovers like myself. If you loved The Pumpkin Spice Cafe then you will eat this one up too! It has the coziest town setting with warm neighbors and sweet fall treats. It made me want to move to Maple Falls and open my own Inn. The love story progressed well and I fell in love with both Madison and Zach. The narrator did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and giving them personality. This book also made me very nostalgic and homesick for my own small hometown. Where I also have a father who definitely reminds me of Madison’s father. I found their bond to be so relatable and just wanted to give them both a big hug. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I’m not big on the miscommunication trope. Other than that I absolutely adored this fall read!

Worst thing about this book is that it didn’t come with a cinnamon bun and hot apple cider.
I absolutely love this story and the warm cozy feel of it. So perfect for fall.

➼ Cozy, small town romance, second chances, forced proximity, small-town vs. city life.
* Ella Harper – Recently divorced woman who inherits The Cinnamon Spice Inn to start over. Warm, cautious, and secretly doubts she deserves happiness.
* Daniel “Dan” Lawson – Local carpenter/contractor hired to help restore the inn. Rugged, dependable, carrying his own quiet grief. Sparks fly with Ella.
* The Inn Itself - Almost a character on its own, creaky floors, cozy fireplaces, cinnamon-scented halls and a guestbook full of stories from people passing through.
The Cinnamon Spice Inn was a cozy, heartwarming read with all the right ingredients for a small town romance. A charming inn, a sprinkle of drama, and plenty of cinnamon scented atmosphere. The descriptions of the inn and the town felt warm and inviting, like stepping into a Hallmark movie!
The thing with that trope “enemies to lovers” is it only really works if there’s genuine conflict or opposition between the main characters at the start. The Cinnamon Spice Inn leans more toward cozy small-town, second chance, or forced proximity vibes rather than full on enemies to lovers.
Overall, it’s a sweet, feel-good book perfect for when you want something light, cozy, and charming!

I wanted to love this book because who doesn't love a cozy fall romance book? This is 100% my opinion - but I didn't like this book as much as I wanted. That's because the miscommunication trope in a romance novel bothers me so much and it plays a HUGE part of this story. It happens repeatedly, and instead of confronting each other and talking about what happened years ago - they kept avoiding the subject and lashing out or doing something ridiculous that just made it worse. The setting was great though, I loved the writing, the narrator was fantastic, and the characters were fun - but the back and forth and not just talking about what happened was too much for me to fully enjoy this book.

I was one of the lucky few to be chosen to receive the ALC for this book. Let me just say that I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It was well written, the pacing was excellent, and the story was well thought out. I really liked the narrator they used. Also, there is a dog! Animals always seem to win me over. Back to the story though. The story is about a woman who moved to the big city to live her dream while leaving behind her small hometown, family, and boyfriend. You can probably see where this is going. As predictable as it may be, it is a great cozy comfy read for fall. And did I mention there’s a dog?

Thank you NetGalley for the audiobook arc. This series would be great for fans of the Pumpkin Spice Cafe series. A fall cozy cottage core book that will surely get you in the mood for fall. Love this second change romance. She comes home starts helping her father fix up the Inn when a storm rolls in and causes damage to the Inn and the in town handyman is her ex that she left years ago when she moved to the city.

Just finished this cozy NetGalley audiobook “The Cinnamon Soice Inn” by Harper Graham & it left me ready for fall.
Madison leaves her big city NY dreams when her childhood home, The Cinnamon Spice Inn, is said to be in the verge of ruin. Her ex, Zach, is entangled in refurbishing the inn before the Halloween relaunch which makes for a few awkward interactions before they realize they’re still lusting after each other.
As a Laurie Gilmore fan, I was eager to start this read. It had as much cozy, small-town vibes that made me want to snuggle up with a fleece blanket & a pumpkin spice latte.
I really enjoyed Gram’s meddling and Madison’s banter with Kit - but Zach’s character fell a bit flat for me. Madison and Zach’s relationship seemed built on so much miscommunication, I found it a little skeptical they were a match made in heaven.
The narrators, Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis, were enjoyable to listen to & I was able to speed it up to 2x.
Overall, a fun enemies-to-lovers romance! Thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture, and Harper Graham for the ARC.

"Coffee is too important. A woman has priorities."
This book has all the quintessential elements of a Hallmark movie, except less cringeworthy and more steamy.
Zack and Madeline are relatable, typical 20-somethings who look back on the decisions they made when they were younger and reevaluate how they want their lives to proceed. It's a rite of passage for anyone transitioning from new-adulthood into the more serious stages of adulthood, where everyone's expected to get it together.
They are also scorned and burned ex-lovers, who happen to be the King and Queen of misunderstandings.
Usually, I am peeved by the prerequisite of suspension of disbelief that even in this economy, the woman will quit an editorial job she has in New York, but thankfully, we saw Madeline's life taking a new turn. So she was already at a crossroads, and deciding to leave/stay didn't feel artificial.
The secondary characters make or break such stories, and I am happy to report that these characters are a great addition, endearing and well-intentioned.
This is a highly specific genre of romance books that is predictable (complimentary), trope-driven, and fuelled by the quirks of a small town, so if thats what you go into the book expecting, you will not be disappointed.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn by Harper Graham is a perfect book for anyone craving a cozy, autumnal escape. The vibes? Immaculate. From the picturesque town of Maple Falls to the scent of cinnamon wafting through the pages, the atmosphere was spot-on. This book absolutely nails the cozy, autumn aesthetic, and I could practically feel the crisp air and see the golden leaves falling. The author has a real talent for creating a setting that feels like home, and that’s where this book shines the most.
Kit was by far my favorite character, and honestly, I hope she gets her own book because I’d love to see more of her story. There’s something so likable and relatable about her. Also, let’s not forget about the cover it's so adorable! It perfectly matches the tone of the book, and I’m a sucker for a cover that aligns with the vibe inside.
However, the main plot device (miscommunication trope) didn’t quite work for me. I just couldn’t wrap my head around how the characters couldn’t talk to each other! For me, it felt a bit toxic and frustrating. I’m left wondering whether their relationship will have a future, because the way they just kept avoiding communication was a major hurdle for me.
Additionally, Madison was described as a “straight shooter” by her grandma, but I found her to be the direct opposite. I kept waiting for her to be more open and direct, but she ended up being more closed off than expected. This disconnect made it harder for me to connect with her character.
Overall, while I really enjoyed the fall vibes and the setting, the miscommunication aspect and some character inconsistencies held this book back from being a true favorite for me. If you love autumnal settings and small-town charm, it’s definitely worth checking out, but be prepared for some frustrating moments with the characters.

Absolutely LOVED reading this cosy fall romance 🥰
The writing was great and even tho somewhat predictable, it was comforting and I love the returning home tropes with the second change romance. The perfect amount of spice and plot! Definitely recommend for your Fall TBR!
Thank you so much for this opportunity to review this Arc.

Loveeeddd the absolute curtest cozy fall romance book! The romance tropes, including second chance romance, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and small town vs. city life. I loved the story and chemistry & fall setting such a great cozy read thank you so much NetGalley, Harper Graham, Bookoture for the ARC so good Listened on audio version and loved every moment

I loveeee the fall vibes and writing style, very cozy, cutesy, mysterious, and sometimes spicy 🍂🍁
Even though I guessed who the letters were from, I loved the idea of it and loved who they were from. It was very very sweet.
What I could not stand about this was the miscommunication!! Hello just talk to each other I beg and plead. Literally everything, for SIX YEARS, could have been resolved if you just spoke to each other 😃 EVEN IN THE END. DID WE NOT LEARN?
The narrator also did a good job, though I was confused because I thought it was supposed to be dual narration (according to NetGalley). It would have been a lot better with another narrator.

Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for this Audiobook.
I was really invested at first but soon it got a bit too spicy to my liking and felt like it was more about the love angle rather than trying to save the inn.

This was starting off really fun and quick read! I really loved how easy it was to fall in love with Maple Falls. What turned me off was the miscommunication in this book! I couldn't get past it. But otherwise it was good.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn is exactly what I crave in a fall romance: a cozy setting, a sweet second-chance story, and a whole lot of heat. I'm a total sucker for the Hallmark-style plot where a city girl returns home to save a family business, and this book delivers on that familiar, feel-good charm.
While I was completely invested in the crisp autumn vibes and the sizzling physical chemistry between Madison and Zach, I couldn't help but feel a key ingredient was missing. Their emotional conflict felt a bit lukewarm, and I wanted to see more depth in their connection. The fire was definitely there, but the foundation felt a little shaky.
All in all, it's a fun and spicy seasonal read that will satisfy your craving for a heartwarming tale with a little kick. Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced reader audiobook.

Big city girl Madison and laid back handyman Zack are reunited in the cozy Hallmark-style town when her family’s inn is in trouble. They continue to run into each other and are forced to face the flaws of their old relationship.
This was beautifully narrated and transported me to the little town. The pace and emotions were carried well through the narrator. I enjoyed the story and characters. It’s a comfort fall read in the making!

I’ve been craving fall vibes lately and this book has the perfect vibes. I enjoyed this second chance romance along side the whole storyline. I’m a sucker for a handy man👏🏼 The only thing that drove me a tad crazy was the miscommunication aspects sprinkled in there at the end. This book is a must for your fall TBR🍂
Thank you for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

2.5 stars rounded up to 3
The narrator did an amazing job portraying all the characters and emotion. I felt this was your typical Hallmark storyline. It could be a good palette cleanser. It gives the cozy small town romance vibe a lot of people love.

A childhood romance faltered by miscommunication? A failing family business waiting to be saved by a driven big-city daughter? An everlooming deadline (sort of?) to get it all done? A small town full of cliche but friendly characters? The Cinnamon Spice Inn has it all!
This book was an easy and enjoyable read, but not one I'll be raving about, and that's okay! I think it delivered exactly what it said it would - small town cheesy romcom with some heavy autumnal vibes.
From the jump, I think this book would have benefited from a better opening. It felt like we were rushing to get to Maple Falls and didn't care how we got there. The rush through the plot really impacted how much I cared about my FMC - I think starting the book with actually showing Madison's life in New York would have helped me to believe the duality of her character needed for the rest of the story. I would have also loved if it started with the flashback to their anniversary, as it would have raised the stakes, made me care about the characters faster, and drawn me in so much earlier!!
That being said, I did still feel for Madison and her struggle to pick between her two lives. I enjoyed that she was prioritising her own needs and wants as much as her want to help her family! In contrast, Zach's unending selflessness annoyed me and i just wanted him to ask someone to pay him for his work!!!!! Stop undervaluing your skills Zach!!!!
The miscommunication at the heart of it all was stopped this book from ever going above 3 stars. This is on me though - I know I hate this trope and that it frustrates me to no end, and yet I read on. BUT IF THEY JUST HAD ONE HONEST CONVERSATION, AT ANY POINT IN TIME, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. And really, if your couple cannot have open dialogue with each other how am i meant to believe that they'd stay together for the long haul?
The plot was "plotting", kinda - some bits were stronger than others, it had me guessing with the mystery of the letters.
The side characters drew me in enough that I'd probably read their solo-books, but not enough for me to remember their names.
Again, this book did what it said it would and for that she gets a solid middle ground rating.
Thank you to Harper Graham and Netgalley for providing me with the advanced copy of this!

Madison is living her dream in New York City when she gets an anonymous letter urging her to return home and help her father with the family business. She goes back to her hometown of Maple Falls and decides to save her family’s inn. The Cinnamon Spice Inn needs help and the handyman most suited to do repairs is none other than Madison’s ex Zach. She did not want to see him again and just wants to run, but she refuses to let her family down. Can Madison save the Inn? Will a second chance at love bring these two together? Find out.
This book was a delightful blend of cuteness and spice, and I’m not just referring to the cinnamon. While the plot was somewhat predictable, the author cleverly added elements to make the story stand out and captivate the reader. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, and as I listened to the audiobook, I was transported into their world through the narrator’s exceptional performance. Each voice was distinct and brought the characters and the story to life. The story flowed smoothly, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the build-up of the main characters’ emotions. The transitions were seamless, and I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy and romantic book.
