Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture Audio for the Advanced Listener copy of this book! If you are looking for an easy fun read that follows the “Hallmark Movie” blueprint to a T then look no further you found it! The Cinnamon Spice Inn follows food writer Madison who receives an anonymous letter telling her the Inn her family has run for generations is in trouble, she quickly leaves New York and heads for Maple Grove the quintessential fall town plucked right out of Gilmore girls complete with nosey residents. When a storm wreaks havoc on the roof of the inn who does Madison’s father call? None other than Madison’s ex boyfriend Zach, from there the story plays out with tons of miscommunication and spicy moments between the pair. All in all a very fun fall read!

If you're looking for a cozy fall Halmark movie type romcom - this is the one for you! We've got a FMC who leaves the big city to come back home to a small town to save her family's inn and then mix in a little second chance romance because that ex she was hoping she wouldn't run in to? Yeah he's the handyman helping to fix up the inn! Also, we get a little hint of mystery because she only came back because of an anonymous typed letter saying her dad needed help and the inn was in trouble ... and other town members are getting them too? Let the games begin!
All in all, this was exactly what I was hoping it would be and it was only made better by the weather starting to cool down so I could enjoy my morning coffee out on the porch while reading. I loved the small town vibes, you get a plethora of secondary characters that actually have real personalities and I could picture all of the older women sitting around gossiping in town.
There is a bit of a miscommunication trope, so might be good to know if that's an absolute deal breaker for you, but to me I think it was more reminiscent of how their relationship originally ended and the fact that they did not communicate or fight for each other and their fear that its happening again. Could it have been handled better? Absolutely, and also there's other plot lines occurring so to me, it made sense why there might have been conflicting priorities.
Such a cute and cozy fall book! Can't wait to read more - already counting down the days until book 2 is released because it's about Liam and is Christmas themed?!

With its autumnal vibes and immersive descriptions, you certainly get a flavour of what fall is like in a small North American lake town. Madison returns home to Maple Falls after a prolonged absence, prompted by a mysterious letter she receives in New York, where she now resides. She is soon immersed in small-town life and discovers that her first love, Zach, remains an integral part of the community, making her life challenging as she still has feelings for him. Zach has never forgotten Madison and the way she left him. When they meet again, he cannot ignore how he feels, but is determined not to let her break his heart again.
Misunderstanding is at the heart of this story, and it takes the couple and the reader on a tumultuous emotional journey. There is a palpable small-town vibe. There is an emotional connection between Madison and Zach, which soon becomes passionate and complex, and the reader invests in this. Woven with a thread of mystery, it features strong themes of community, friendship, family secrets and spicy romance.
I listened to this book in audio format, and it works well. The narration brought the characters, their introspective thoughts and events to vibrant life. It's a lovely, small-town romance with a heartwarming community spirit and evocative seasonal descriptions.
I received an audiobook from the publisher.

Madison leaves NYC to come back to her small hometown of Maple Falls in order to help save her family’s Inn, The Cinnamon Spice. If doesn’t take long to run into her Ex, Zach… and not much longer to realize she’s still attracted to him.
This second chance romance is a great read if you’re itching for Fall Vibes. The description of all things fall is off the charts and will have you smelling apple cider, cinnamon donuts and just the AIR of fall in no time. Stars Hallow in Autumn is exactly what you get with this small town.
As far as the relationship goes… eh. The miscommunication was off the charts and actually maddening… I just wanted to scream. It’s not realistic that these two people could be having such intense sex while not having ANY conversations about ANYTHING and assuming EVERYTHING about the other.
I’ll probably still read the second one since I liked the atmosphere captured and descriptive writing style, and the relationship was what did me in. Hoping for a more enjoyable romantic story line in The Spiced Cocoa Cafe.

The Cinnamon Spice Inn was such a cute fall romance, with all the warmth of a close-knit small town and some fabulous characters!
Madison left her small hometown of Maple Falls for the bright lights and career possibilities of New York, leaving behind her boyfriend and true love Zach several years ago, along with her family’s bed and breakfast. Now, an anonymous note begs her to come back and help save the inn, which has fallen on hard times. And now here she is, with memories flooding back in and overwhelming her.
Town handyman Zach has spent years trying to get over Madison, with no luck. Now that she’s back, he wills himself not to fall for her again (also to no avail) as he’s helping her family rebuild the inn. But there’s so much feeling and chemistry from the start…
I adored all the small-town vibes and features of this book and could just feel the amazing fall season, Halloween, fall leaves (that I never see as I live in coastal Florida)! The side characters really made it for me too, from the nosy older ladies to Madison’s grandma to all the rescue animals. However, the repeated miscommunications were a bit frustrating and you would think the characters (especially Madison) would have learned their lessons and maybe figured out how to have grown-up conversations but….still, I really enjoyed this book and all the vibes it brought.
Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis did a fantastic job with the narration, and I’d definitely listen to more of their books too.
3.5 rounded up. It would have been higher without so many miscommunications.

Madison returns to the small town she was raised in after receiving a mysterious letter asking her to save her family's Cinnamon Spice Inn. Upon returning she meets her first love, Zach. After not seeing each other for years, their tension-filled romance begins.
If you are looking for a small town romance with a heart-warming second chance love that is, at the same time, the perfect cute, cozy read for those looking to get into the fall vibes, then this is the book you are looking for.
As for the narration of this audiobook, having two narrators has made the experience much more enjoyable. I believe both Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis did an amazing job at portraying the characters, their emotions and the tension between them.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for providing me with the ALC of this book.

Thank you to the author and publisher for the advance copy of The Cinnamon Spice Inn. This was such a cute small-town romance that gave me all the cozy fall vibes. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters, and it felt like an easy, feel-good read. While it was not overly dramatic or full of big twists, that is exactly what made it the perfect buffer read. A sweet, non-problematic romance that is comforting and enjoyable for the season.

I looooved this book, it was such an easy read, the story to follow. I loved how uncomplicated the relationship were made, how Maddy and Zach worked out their relationship, how cozy were the story and how it made me feel as if I was there! It made me want to travel across the world and find some inn to stay in! I just loved it!!

I received a copy of this book on NetGalley as an ARC.
This was the perfect cozy fall read. It is the perfect book to curl up in a cozy blanket with a coffee and get yourself in the fall mood. It really felt like a Hallmark movie with some extra spice.
This is a small town second chance romance that is heavy on the miscommunication trope which is typically not my thing but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Madison is a person who will do anything to save her families inn. She’s witty and realistic. Zach is a small town guy who is an integral part of that small town, who knows what he wants.
This book makes me crave pumpkin spice and a pumpkin patch. I really hope we get to see more of Madison and Zach. Overall it was a really good read and I’d recommend giving it a try

I was so excited when I saw the audiobook of #TheCinnamonSpiceInn
by Harper Graham on NetGalley and requested it straight away. It has really got me in the mood for all things Autumnal; Pumpkins, cookies and woolly jumpers here we come! 🎃🍂🎃🍂
I love a second chance romance and this one really caught me in the feels. I loved the main characters, Madison & Zach and I rooted for a reunion between the two from the start.
The book was so atmospheric and I found myself smiling at the descriptions of The Cinnamon Spice Inn and all the other quaint shops in Maple Falls. It had all the charm you’d want from a small town romance novel and the perfect amount of spice 🌶️
This was a wonderful feel good book for anyone who is a fan of Gilmore Girls and The Pumpkin Spice Café series.
Thank you so much to Bookouture for my ARC and a very happy publication day to Harper Graham 🧡

I absolutely loved the autumn vibes in this book. It’s cozy, heartwarming, and the perfect story to curl up with under a blanket and a pumpkin spice latte. The author nailed the setting and backdrop of Maple Falls, making it such a charming place to escape to.
That said, the miscommunication trope didn’t quite land for me. I understand it was the main reason behind the breakup, but I had a hard time believing that two people who claim to love each other so deeply couldn’t just communicate. It left me a little frustrated at times.
On the other hand, the narration was fantastic. The narrator did an excellent job giving each character a distinct voice, and the story was very easy to follow in audio.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy, small-town romance with plenty of charm.

City girl back in her home town vs grumpy handyman with all the fall scents, flavors, and colors! This second chance romance is perfect for a cozy fall read with some spice.
I really enjoyed the theme of fall, when I read a book that’s set in a fall or holiday setting, I want it to throw it at my face and this definitely did the job! The setting was cute and I love a corny hallmark type story for these seasonal reads. My issue was with the characters. This man was being a big man baby about her passions and career-EWW. They weren’t my favorite but this book did its job still!
Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis did a great job with these characters, the audio was really engaging and fun!
Thank you so much Harper Graham and Bookouture Audio for providing this free ALC. This is my honest review!

The Cinnamon Spice Inn was an enjoyable read for me, though it is definitely one I should have saved for autumn. The cozy small-town setting, the descriptions of cinnamon, apples, and falling leaves, and the atmosphere of the inn all give it the perfect seasonal feel.
This type of romance is not something I usually pick up, but I liked that it offered something different from my normal reads. The second chance romance was sweet in parts, although the reliance on miscommunication as a trope did make the story feel a little repetitive. I found myself wishing the characters would just have an honest conversation rather than circling around the same misunderstandings.
That said, the mystery element with the letters added a nice touch and the audiobook narration brought the town and its characters to life. Overall, a cozy and heartwarming story that will appeal to readers who love small-town romances and autumn vibes. For me, it landed at three stars, but I can see it being a favourite seasonal read for others.

Overall, I enjoyed this story. It was enjoyable for a quick & cozy romance, with the fall vibes I love.
The negative... the Miscommunication trope. Not just once as a major life altering plot point. But twice! Even if the 2nd time was corrected... relatively quickly, it still pulled me out of enjoying the story to its fullest. It was interesting to have the mystery of who the letter sender is throughout the whole book, and it was a satisfying conclusion. Overall I enjoyed the story but I'm not sure it's one I would personally read again.

Zach and Madi have my heart! They have communication issues but it’s relatable. Not this ridiculous misunderstanding that keeps getting in the way the whole book and then it manically comes out and all is right. No Madi and Zach have normal new love communication issues. I love that. I love how cozy this book is and boy does it make me want to go bake something with apples and cinnamon haha.

A spicy cozy fall romance 🥰 that is 100000% worth the read! We start off with our NYC foodie & redhead FMC that goes home to save the Cinnamon Spice Inn. There she runs into her handsome (rugged fine as heck) ex boyfriend Zack, who is going to help renovate the inn (Mr fix it)😏. This is an interesting twist on the forced proximity (that happens to be) childhood sweethearts tropes. I was not expecting this! It is giving Sullivan Crossing vibes or Gilmore Girls cozy feels. 🍁 The narrators Andi and Brandon do an incredible job of bringing the characters to life and you feel like you are right there with them! (In the closet 🫣 in the cafe) seriously immersive. Although, I am not a fan of the miscommunication aspect it is still a worthwhile and captivating read. I highly recommend it! **As always this is my honest review of the ARC read from NetGalley.**

Cozy, small town romance to get a reader ready for Autumn!
An anonymous letter beckons Madison to help revive her family’s struggling inn, but returning to her hometown means facing the one person who broke her heart years ago.
As a the local contractor for the town, Zach is tasked with helping to renovate the inn alongside Madison. His brain is telling him not to fall for her again but his heart refuses to get the same message.
Readers who enjoy the following tropes should give this one a try:
🍂 Small Town
🎃 Autum Vibes
🍂 Second Chance
🎃 Miscommunication
🍂 Childhood Sweethearts
🎃 Angst
🍂 Spice
🎃 Forced Proximity
I enjoyed the small town, Autumn vibes and the aspect of community coming together to save the inn. I enjoyed the side characters and hope to see more of Liam, Emily, and Kitt.
Personally, I love second chance romances but enjoy them less when the second chance stems from miscommunication or in this case, a complete lack of communication. Madison and Zach are made to seem like they would be each others forever since they were teenagers, but the minute one desires a different path in life, that same one just misinterprets a situation and uses it as an excuse to take both feet out the door but will blame the other for the ruin of an otherwise solid relationship.
Also, I really wish publishers would stop listing that there are two audiobook narrators when there is really only one. This was my first time listening to Andi Eloise and she did a phenomenal job reading for all the characters. However, I would have loved to hear Brandon Francis perform as Zach and expected as much from the description when I signed up. Please, I beg for the word “featuring” to be placed by their name and not just stated in the opening credits.
Thank you to the author, NetGalley, and Bookouture Audio for the ALC!

I had no idea what this book was about, but the cover was so captivating that I had to read it! Since I don’t live where we get all four seasons, I knew this book would give me the fall vibes I needed. The narrator did an incredible job of telling the story, and I couldn’t put it down. I could almost picture the cozy Cinnamon Spice Inn with all its warm and inviting atmosphere. I really enjoyed the main characters, Madison and Zach. They were a young couple who were deeply in love, but one of them wanted to explore the world beyond their small town.
I’m definitely going to read or listen to more books from this author. Their writing style is so engaging, and they make you feel like you’re right there with them. Madison grew up in a small town and moved to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a writer for restaurants. She left behind her boyfriend, Zach, who she thought might join her. But when she receives a letter from her father, who is in need of help at the inn, she returns home without hesitation. However, she soon starts noticing that other townspeople have received the same letter, and she begins to wonder who is sending these letters.
I highly recommend this audiobook. Thank you, Netgalley, for the opportunity to listen to a book that transported me to a different world and made me feel like I was right there with the characters.

I enjoyed the cozy setting of this book and it's small-town charm. The set up was really fun with the FMC back from her life in the city to save her family's inn. It felt like a Hallmark movie.
Where this fell short for me was in the romance unfortunately. This story has the second chance romance trope, which can be hit or miss to me anyway. But there was just a lot of miscommunication between Madison and Zach that got rather repetitive and frustrating, leaving me wondering why they even wanted to be together in the end. And the whole reason they broke up years ago stemmed from something that could've been cleared up with one simple conversation, which is a major pet peeve of mine.
Although this story didn't totally work for me, I did enjoy this books setting, the writing and it's secondary characters. The romance just didn't work for me.

I absolutely adored the small town autumnal vibes of this story and listened to the whole book over two days!
Madison returns home when she receives an anonymous letter stating that her dad needs help running the family inn.
when Madison left Maple falls all those years ago she also left behind her boyfriend Zach and now that she's back she isn't best pleased at the thought of running into him. But of course when the inn needs repairs it's Zach who her dad calls on to do the work and so they are stuck with each other!
I loved their story and how a misunderstanding had kept them apart all these years, why can't people just talk!? There was also the mystery element of who wrote the letters and it was fun to read along.
I enjoyed the narration and felt it really added something to the story telling, i will definitely be waiting for more from this narrator and author!
