This story resembles its title - it is arresting and fluffy with strong roots and seeds that scatter and take hold easily in your subconscious. Poppy has always lived in the shadow of her sister, Dandelion, who was brighter, prettier, braver, more vivacious - everything that Poppy isn’t. Now Dandelion is dead and Poppy decides to become her sister - just for one day - with devastating consequences. The ripples spread and Poppy’s life will never be the same again! I gave this 4 stars because there were bits that didn’t ring true, but it’s a quick and enjoyable read with a believable cast of characters.
