At first I felt this was part of a series that I was reading out of order. I felt like I should have known some of the characters already. It wasn’t a bad story and it was a quick read. I wish there would have been more with Danny in the end with all of the building up.

I enjoyed the book, but it was a pretty standard romance trope best friends sister, age gap, single parent book. Fleeing from abuse. I didn’t deeply connect, so I was indifferent.

I love a good friends to lovers, separation, white knight story. I feel like I would have liked to see more of Danny. Just a touch more of Sadie needing a “rescue”. It didn’t feel like a big enough piece of the puzzle, even though it’s the reason Sadie ran to Theo in the first place.
There’s lots of sizzle, though and plenty of happily ever after.
5 stars!!

This was such an emotional read. I’d definitely check triggers and be aware this book does discuss DV. However, it was done in a very respectful and careful way.

It was incredible to see Sadie’s growth and strength come through throughout this book and especially being able to open up to Theo after her history.

Seeing how Theo took her and Lottie in was so special and how their relationship grew throughout the book.

It was such a great read and I loved it so much. (I don’t have DV as a trigger so I think I was able to read this book without a big emotional response).

Can’t wait to continue on with the series and I hope some of the side characters get their own books!

My first read from this author, and I absolutely loved it! Sadie and her daughter are on the run from her ex-husband. They’ve left Ireland and are staying with Theo, a billionaire who isn’t used to clutter and mess. Theo also happens to be best friends with Sadie’s sister. Sadie and Theo share a lot of history—they were once very close. It’s such a touching story, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t wait for book two!

3 things about this book:
•Forced Proximity
•Billionaire MMC
•Spicy scenes

ℝ𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Filthy Rich Temptation DELIVERED with the romance tropes including forbidden relationship, forced proximity, a billionaire MMC to name just a few things!

The chemistry between Theo and Sadie absolutely spilled off of the pages and you just knew from the start the cat and mouse type game was on!! This sort of book is what I love about Rachael Stewart - she can really write a spicy romance but always gives you more than you expect.

I really enjoyed this story but what really stuck out was the darker elements that Sadie had been through - it made Theo even more of a hero!

I am really looking forward to more from the “Filthy Rich” series.

Book Review: Filthy Rich Temptation by Rachael Stewart

I don’t usually gravitate toward family-centered storylines, but Filthy Rich Temptation completely won me over. This is a heartfelt romance that blends emotional depth with swoon-worthy chemistry.

Sadie, the strong and resilient FMC, is written with authenticity and heart. Opposite her, Theo - a billionaire hero - defied my expectations. I anticipated the usual cocky, arrogant type who would eventually redeem himself, but Theo charmed me from the very beginning. Despite his original aloofness and preference for solitude, his caring and genuine nature shines through in a way that makes him instantly likable.

The romance between Sadie and Theo feels organic, and the inclusion of Lottie adds an extra layer of tenderness. Her paragraphs are absolutely adorable, tugging at the heartstrings and grounding the story with warmth

This book was such a adorable romance. I loved reading about him slowly opening up about his feeling for her but also him falling head over heels for her daughter. A guy being an adorable father figure... nothing sexier than that. Everything about her escaping her abuse and trying to find her new self afterwards was very inspirational and I think alot of woman out there would benefit from reading this book if theyre in similar situations. She showed there is hope after abuse even if its just on a blog online to find support. I was a little disappointed at the end. Her ex was portrayed as such a dangerous individual. They had a swat like security team after him and he was able to get into the country without them knowing. Threatened her sister. They hid her away. And in the end he just shows uo and gets arrested. It seemed very anticlimactic. I thought there would be more to his eventual arrest or capture. But her expressing her strength to him in front of everyone was a great way to end for her.

I had such a fun time reading this. It’s filled with some of my favorite tropes—single mom, protective MMC, and unrequited love with the friend’s younger sister.

I really appreciated how the author portrayed Sadie’s experience with domestic abuse and her journey to overcoming it with Theo’s support. Watching Sadie find herself again after everything she endured was both inspiring and heartwarming.

Theo’s love for Sadie was also beautifully written—he held back because of their age gap and her being his friend’s younger sister, but the depth of his feelings still shone through. I also enjoyed the cozy, well-drawn setting of the story.

Overall, this was a 3.5-star read for me, and I recommend it!

This story begins with the familiar setup of a bachelor who is afraid of commitment. But as the plot unfolds, his lost love resurfaces—because the FMC is actually the younger sister of his longtime female best friend, someone he knew when she was younger. Their reunion forces him to confront both his past and his ideas about love, changing everything he thought he knew about life and relationships.
The heroine’s dark past adds a note of suspense, while subtle hints suggest that the MMC’s best friends might be involved in shady or not-so-legal activities, though this thread is never fully developed.
Overall, the book leans strongly into billionaire tropes—glamour, second-chance romance, and transformation through love—making it a recognizable but still entertaining read for fans of the genre.

Billionaire romance isn’t usually my go to especially in today’s climate, but Rachael Stewart absolutely is, and when I saw this ARC pop up on Boldwood, I didn’t even hesitate to hit request. And wow, am I glad I did. Because Filthy Rich Temptation is so much more than your average broody billionaire falls for the girl story.

This book has layers with a little spice, a whole lot of heart, and an adorable toddler named Lottie who completely stole the spotlight (seriously, she deserves her own spin off). Sadie Stone’s journey is raw and moving: she’s a single mom, a survivor, and a woman slowly rediscovering her strength after an abusive relationship. Watching her heal while fiercely protecting her daughter had me rooting for her every step of the way.

Enter Theo: the brooding billionaire who’s supposed to be off limits (best friend’s little sister, hello trope heaven). He’s the kind of character who frustrates you one minute and melts you the next, especially in his tender moments with Sadie and Lottie. Their forced proximity turns into so much tension, delicious banter, and eventually a love story that feels both earned and deeply healing.

What I love about Rachael Stewart’s writing is her ability to balance heavy themes with warmth, humor, and a great romance. She doesn’t brush over Sadie’s trauma, but she also gives space to breathe with lighter moments, some laughter, and that magical kind of chemistry that makes this worth reading.

This is emotional, spicy, empowering, and ultimately heartwarming, and Filthy Rich Temptation is proof that Rachael Stewart can do it all.

✨ Forced proximity
✨ Best friend’s little sister
✨ Broody billionaire with a soft heart
✨ Healing + hope at the core

Highly recommend if you like your romance with substance, sweetness, and a healthy dose of glitter courtesy of an adorable three year old.

Thank you to NetGalley, Rachael Stewart, and Boldwood Books for the eARC of this book.

Billionaire romance isn’t a genre I usually gravitate toward, but Racheal Stewart absolutely is and when I saw this ARC available on Boldwood, it was an instant yes. I’m so glad I said yes, because this book is far more than your standard billionaire romance.

This story is layered with emotion, trauma, healing, and an unforgettable toddler who completely stole my heart. Sadie Stone’s journey is one of survival, motherhood, and rediscovering her own voice after the devastation of an abusive relationship. It’s a narrative that is both moving and empowering, reminding readers that love isn’t just about finding the right person,it’s also about finding strength within yourself.

As a survivor myself, I found this book profoundly meaningful and beautifully written. Stewart handles difficult themes with compassion and authenticity while balancing them with moments of humor, warmth, and romance.

Racheal Stewart proves once again that her talent goes beyond writing swoon-worthy, fun romances (though she does those brilliantly too!). Here, she seamlessly blends emotional depth with heartfelt storytelling, creating a love story that is as healing as it is heartwarming.

Highly recommended for readers who enjoy romance with depth, resilience, spice and hope at its core.

There's nothing like a billionaire romance. This book had me going, and I could not put it down! I think that it was fun, including elements of suspense, but overall a solid choice. We love a broody, MMC, and Theo was everything I hoped for. The tension between the two main characters was so gripping that I could not put this down. Additionally, I don't feel like this book sacrificed content for spice, although there was spice. Definitely would recommend.

2.5 stars. This story read like a suspense, but the edges were very softened by romance.. The romance was also very straight forward, and in terms of intimacy, I would describe this as a cozy novel. It’s somewhat at odds with the cover.

Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC

Billionaire romance is quickly becoming a trope that I enjoy, especially when done right. This author definitely understood the assignment, and I really enjoyed this book.

Theo is the ultimate brooding billionaire - successful, protective, and absolutely all-in for the one woman he has sworn not to touch (again). Sadie is both vulnerable and strong, with a sweet little girl, and together they completely unravel Theo's world.

This is forced proximity/best friend's little sister done right. The dynamic creates some delicious tension throughout, and every look and touch simmers with their chemistry. This is a slow-burn but the payoff is so worth it. There's spice, there's emotion, and there's all the second-chance feelings you could want.

Theo + Sadie. Where do I even begin? This story blends second-chance romance with an age gap dynamic and delivers it through a dual timeline—slipping between the past (how Sadie and her sister Taylor fell out, and what happened with Theo) and the present, where all those threads collide.

From the start, I loved the sharp internal commentary from both Theo and Sadie. The one-liners were so good, and often made me laugh out loud, even in the midst of heavier themes. And the heavier themes are handled so well. Sadie’s past abuse is written with care and respect, and I really appreciated the balance between her vulnerability and her strength.

Theo is… complicated. Stubborn, frustrating, and very much a man who wants to protect the people he loves—even if he doesn’t always go about it the right way. More than once, I wanted to yell “listen to your mama!” at him, but he also had these incredibly tender moments that melted me. His declaration to Sadie—“I hated myself back then, for wanting you like I did. But I can’t hate myself for it now. Whatever this is… I’m all in. For as long as you need me to be.”—completely floored me.

Sadie herself was easy to root for, and her bond with her daughter, Lottie, was one of my favorite parts of the book. Lottie was everything a three-year-old should be—funny, full of personality, and written so accurately that every comparison had me smiling.

I also have to say, Axel is an intriguing side character. I’d love to get his story at some point.

Overall, Filthy Rich Temptation is equal parts emotional and swoony, with family dynamics, healing, and a romance that feels both tender and hard-won. The ending declaration of love was so sweet, and the acceptance from Sadie’s sister tied it all together beautifully.

That said, I did feel like something small was missing—just a touch more depth or time in certain places—but I still devoured it in two days

Theo is like most men. They love their routine and solitude. When Sadie moves in with her daughter, it’s mayhem in his apartment and life. As time goes on, things begin to change and I loved how he changed as a little girl and her mother won his heart.

A forbidden, second chance, billionaire romance.

Sadie and her daughter, Lottie, are running from her ex-husband. Her sister asks her co-worker/friend Theo to put them up to keep them safe. Sadie and Theo had a moment years ago when she kissed him, but the age difference and being his friend's little sister kept him from her. Now they're in close proximity and old feels rekindle.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

This book is about Sadie, the FMC who has a daughter and has recently left an abusive relationship and is currently living with Theo, his sister's best friend who also happens to be her teenage crush. This book tells a story about redemption, strength and standing up after being in an abusive relationship.

I expected this book to have more depth - maybe because the plot has so much potential in it. It had tropes that almost every other book had, but there is something different about the way the author writes that will pull you in immediately. I would have devoured and loved it more if it had more pages into it.

Thank you so much to Netgalley for the opportunity of having an ARC for this story.
