I don't really enjoy this book, but I know a few people who will absolutely love it, so l'll definitely pass it on as a recommendation for them.
Easy quick read.

Thank you to NetGalley for the audiobook ARC of The Note by Alafair Burke. This is a tense and engaging psychological thriller that begins with a girls’ weekend in the Hamptons and quickly unraveled
The storyline went from the past to the present with real skill, exploring friendship and keeping the levels of suspense high.
Catherine Ho’s narration was excellent, moving seamlessly between characters and adding real depth to their voices and emotions. A gripping listen with plenty of twists that kept me invested to the very end.

Sadly this audiobook wasn’t for me. I did enjoy the setting in the early part of the book in the Hamptons. Would love to visit there one day.
Thanks to the publisher on NetGalley for my copy of this book to listen to but sadly only giving 3 stars

Thank you, Bolinda Audio for the ALC!
I found this story frustrating and incredibly boring. Not even Catherine Ho’s engaging narration kept me interested. To make matters worse, I kept forgetting these 3 women were adults and not teenage girls. Very quickly I realised I didn’t care what happened to any of them.
Catherine Ho was a new to me narrator but after a quick google I see she’s on a few recent audiobooks that I’ve seen on Libby so I’ll make more of an effort to listen to them now I’ve enjoyed her narration. All of the stars for the narration, sadly the story let it down imho.
