3.5 stars rounded up. This was a cute, simple middle grade mystery. It was so short that I flew through it in one sitting. It wasn't a particularly exciting story, but it would've been right up my alley when I was younger.

I liked it for what it was. Of course I finished in one sitting.
It is a mystery but one that is too easily solved.

What a great book, I love the dynamic between the brothers and their clubhouse sounds fun! They are out to solve a mystery, and this is one great mystery of a Haunted House in the neighborhood. The book takes a turn when they stumble upon another child, named Olivia who also wants to solve the mystery of the Haunted House, too. This title is perfect for the fall months leading up to Halloween in October. I know there will be fans at my library as I enjoyed reading this suspenseful book-patrons will too.

We follow two brothers as they are trying to figure out a mystery about a haunted house in the neighborhood. It is short and fast paced.
I think I would have enjoyed this a lot as a kid and would recomend this to kids who want an exiting mystery that also involves friendship.
