Without a doubt, Chris Hammer is my favourite Australian crime writer, and his latest novel had me absolutely hooked. It started as one thing, and quickly surprised me by taking a different turn.
I love the tiny Australian town setting and vibes, and the compelling cast of characters who all seem to have something to hide. It’s definitely quite a complex mystery and by the end I wasn’t sure exactly how everything tied together but that’s more of a me problem as it was so cleverly done. I’d absolutely recommend to any mystery fans!
