This is an incredible Christmas murder mystery, perfect for reading by the fire with a mince pie and glass of wine. It’s days before Christmas and the mysterious Mistletoe Manor is hosting a jumble of strangers during a brutal winter storm. No one knows anyone else and they are thrown together, hoping the snow stops so they can get to their actual Christmas destinations.
However, a murder takes place on that first night throwing them all into suspicion and looking over their shoulders, Nick, a journalist stranded when his car broke down, takes it upon himself to begin delving into the matter. Along that journey there is another murder and the questions, along with the bodies, are piling up. Who would want to kill these people, how are the murders related and will the snow ever stop?
I thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas mystery and it had all the right elements of mystery, suspense along with clever plot twists and a fantastic cast of characters.
