Beautifully illustrated and informative, The Story of Tudor Art, gives an insight into the works of art created during the Tudor period and what influenced their creation. However, it does not confine itself to great works but also includes costumes and jewellery and household objects to give a vivid illustration of the Tudor period.
I recommend this book both to lovers of art and culture and those with an interest in the Tudor period.

An interesting look at the Tudor dynasty through the art they created and sponsored. However, I think that anyone interested in the art of the period would already be familiar with the history.
