It didn't take too long to read this one. A short story by Adrian Tchaikovsky's usual standards. I enjoyed it mostly. I would have liked a few more details about what happened to Coppelia's parents and the other missing mages. I like that the little people sort of took over at the end though. I. Glad Coppelia managed to survive mostly unscathed too. She is a good character. It's very different I think to anything else I've read.
