Stacy Bass uses her considerable skills as a photographer to bring alive the memories, and ultimately the legacy, of both her parents whom she clearly loved very much and has chosen to pay homage to through her body of work.

Lightkeeper is a story that will have resonance for those who have loved deeply and lost those whom they loved - especially parents.

This offering is particularly important, given that our culture often focuses only on grief and loss as it pertains to certain relationships while often overlooking the profound pain of other types of bonds. Hence, this book also addresses an often unacknowledged gap in such literature.

Worth checking out, this gets an easy 3.5 stars.
