An absolutely adorable rom-com when you just need a good, lighthearted read that will make you smile and saw aww out loud. There are of course some serious issues addressed and they were heartbreaking and touching moments but overall it was just a sweet, good time. The second half was more spice heavy which I don't mind, and it was well written. I personally was invested in the characters and their whirlwind love story with or without it. It is obviously set over quite a short space of time, so the bond develops quickly, and I wouldn't have minded if it had taken a bit more time, and lasted a bit longer, but that wasn't the point of the story, it's supposed to be a whirlwind and it's a very cute one. It brings together two characters who are vastly different both in physical appearance and personality, but they seem to be exactly what the other needs and balance each other nicely. They're well written, have good backstories and based on those are able to help each other. The cast of side characters are also a lot of fun, and it's nice to see support for the characters in different ways from each of them. Overall, a really enjoyable read!

Theo and Sheldon were so hot and sweet. The instant connection between these two and the way they helped each other grow in different ways whilst also accepting one another as they are was so beautifully done and I loved it so much. Also Sheldon's twin sister was a fantastic side character. I remain enamoured by Wardell's writing and cannot wait to read more of it.
