This book surprised me in the best way. The photographs are absolutely stunning — the kind you can get lost in, where every detail makes you pause and linger. The poems alongside them are thought provoking and intriguing, and together the combination feels powerful and memorable. It’s the kind of book you can flip through in one sitting, but also one you’ll want to come back to when you’re in the mood to reflect or just soak in some beauty.

The only thing that didn’t quite work for me was the cover. Oddly enough, the cover is what grabbed my attention in the first place, but after reading through the book, I don’t think it really captures what’s inside. The content is far stronger and more moving than the cover suggests, so don’t let first impressions fool you!
