This is a definite read for paranormal fans and most especially if you like strong willed heroines and alpha heroes. So this was my catnip and I had so much fun with it. For some reason I haven't really read more from this author, but definitely she needs more love here. And that cover? I can tell you what drew me to this book and it was that. that had me picking it up and I am so happy that I was able to do so. It has some elements of fantasy mixed in with the paranormal and this author just had it flowing gently together that it just worked so well. I am always on the hunt for these type of reads and very happy that I was able to get a chance to read this unique PNR, that was different and unique on a level I normally don't see. You can bet I will be returning to this author and world.

This book was a little out of my typical genre I read, but I still did find it enjoyable. It is a paranormal romance with a tag line of, “Charlotte McLaren is tired of being the good girl.” And this couldn’t be more a better premonition for what is to follow in this story. This third installment in the Watchtower Chronicles follows Charlotte and Tristan.

This was my first book of the series and I found it initially a little hard to grasp what was going on, how the world worked in this fantasy novel, the characters, etc. I did love the story and the build up between Charlotte and Tristan. After being in a magic coma for three months, Tristan emerges a changed man. He knows there is a dark evil inside him now & he should stay away from the innocent Charlotte, but the pull is just too strong to keep them apart. And with her needing to have a knight for her ritual, she won’t give up until she has him. Even though he tries to fight it, she won’t give up the deep desire she has for him to be hers.

Kissed by Water was full of twists, romance, action and magical happenings! After finishing this story, I am going back to read the rest of this series!
