"You're going to surprise the guy with the memory problems?"

Gabe & Tristan.

I fell in love with Tristan in book 1 and his story back story broke my heart. Tristan is the survivor of a gay bashing leaving him a head trauma that created a short term memory problem. Where Tristan could only remember the last 30 minutes. One of the ways to survive this was to write everything down in a journal but writing memories down didn't combat the need and loneliness that Tristan had. In book 1 Tristan has a bit of a melt down at Big Dick's. This is where he briefly met Gabe whom shot porn with Shane. For Tristan he didn't completely remember Gabe but for Gabe his brief encounter with Tristan woke up his heart. Gabe had the biggest heart and just wants to love and help people even his dead beat alcoholic mother.

I've never suffered from Head trauma but I think A. M arthur did a fantastic job at writing Tristan and his memory issues and all that come with it. From the side effects, to the re-gain of memory gain and what it would be like to hold a conversation with someone not alone have an intimate relationship.

I absolutely loved Gabe and Tristan and their relationship made me smile especially when we got to see more and more of the true Tristan.

Im pretty sure this was a DNF.
I know there was only 1 really good book that i enjoyed by this author.
I need to be shown not told the feelings and in this one I was definately told.
