Carnage gives a different look at school shootings, emphasizing how impressionable and vulnerable lonely teenage boys can be. After several school shootings across New York, detective Lamar Gallineo finds a common link. He works nonstop until he solves the case. The ending is a little bit of a twist, but not a surprise if you had been paying attention to the rest of the book. I found it to be a quick and thought-provoking read.
