The world has gone to hell. Climate change, terrorism and pollution are the only topics on the news in this unnamed future where people no longer have any hope. In a city besieged by sand with the evocative name of City of Forgotten Religions, in what may have once been a place of worship, the renowned Suicide Shop thrives, run for generations by the same family, dedicated to their work and inspired to carry it out. The two eldest sons of the owner couple, with their dreary ways, live up to expectations, but the third son has been smiling since he was a child.
Beautiful, well-written, funny and with an unexpected ending.

Great idea for a book and really well executed. A thoroughly good read. Highly recommended. .
