The second novel in LaPier's Dome Trilogy.
Like many of my favourite sci-fi novels, this one is also firmly grounded in the crime series. (I noticed recently that all the sci-fi novels I recommend to others are actually crime novels in SF clothing.)
"Unclear Skies" picks up the series nicely, and adds more to our picture of the protagonists. Well-written, good pacing, and a good plot. If you enjoyed the first novel, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one.
