The One in a Million Boy is the story of a boy and his friendship with Ona, a 104 year old lady. This is an emotional and beautiful book focusing on issues of friendship, grief, loss and love.

If you enjoyed The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, then The One in a Million Boy will definitely appeal to you.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

I found this to be a thought provoking read, emotional and enlightening all at the same time.
Its about unusual friendships, love, regret, and forgiveness.

There isn't anything except pure honest and open bleeding in this book which will reach your heart.

This boy is 10 years old, he collects things, counts everything and a very clever young lad.
His perception on life is different from other 10 year old's again proving that this lad is special.

He has a friendship with 104 year old Ona developes whilst trying to earn his Boy Scout badges.

This is a sentimental and sweet emotional story of Ona opening up about herself and also surprisingly we learn more about the life of this little boy.

Great story, really sweet and tender.

Yet again I am catching up on my reads of books fallen by the wayside that I have been eager to read,

My thanks to Headline via Net Galley for my cop

I didn’t enjoy this one enough to finish. It was well written but I found it a bit contrite. Probably best for a younger audience.

It took me a while to get round to reading this book but I am glad I did. Heart-warming, excellent story well written. Not my usual type of book but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

As I usually read Murder, Mystery and Mayhem books, this was a very welcome change of pace. What a very lovely book about friendships that blossom from the most unusual (and upsetting) circumstances.
