Beautiful, poignant and warm, this is a story about finding love again after the worst has happened. Rose has closed herself off from love after losing her beloved husband and instead devotes herself to her art. But when a mysterious newcomer arrives in Talting, she begins to open herself up to the possibility of finding love again. Victoria Walters created a beautiful love story here, creating characters to root for amidst a gorgeously warm setting. I really felt for Rose throughout the story, as she couldn't imagine falling in love again after Lucas's tragic death. Her character works well with Robert's and it was a joy to see her realise she can be happy again.

Rose is morning the early death of her husband who was only 24 and killed by a drunk driving accident - Rose is also an artist and decides to sell all her paintings - enter Robert, who not only buys all her paintings but eventually steals her heart.

This is a story i enjoyed reading although some of it went on a bit. Descriptions of feelings were repterative, although they were heart felt and you can feel more with the character. The story is bloody good and with the unexpectied turns and twist, it sure has you sat on the edge of your seat. I think its let Cecelia Ahern and more Trisha Ashley. Ceratinly a book i enjoyed reading and one i would recomend
