I should have read the warnings…

This author is an insta-click for me so I was beyond excited to see a new story available. Unfortunately, I should have read the labels. As usual, there was a great flow to the writing but that it where it stopped for me. I’m definitely okay with suspending disbelief for the sake of a story but this one had me breaking any sorts of plausibility early. From play rules being broken all over the place to a romance that didn’t hit the mark, this story was, I’m sad to say, a miss for me. Will I be looking for more titles by this author? ABSOLUTELY. Previous titles have been some of the best I’ve ever read. I will always come back for more, but next time I’ll read the warnings.
