It's another excellent police procedural thriller, with the theme of powerful pharmaceutical companies, providing a chillingly contemporary setting for the crimes. Two deaths disturb the tranquillity of the English Lake District and lead to an investigation fraught with politics and dangerous individuals. I love the setting, which is so faithfully recreated, the driven and intelligent detective and her team and the immersive investigation that draws you in with each plot twist.
